Hope others on the team see this and start wondering how stable their future might be if they ever decide to not fall in line. Wouldn’t mind seeing them bleed employees for their shitty treatment.       LOL, this is harsher than I’d put it, but yeah, uh, they certainly have proven themselves to be pretty terrible people who are ready and willing to fuck someone over when it’s not convenient to stand up for them. Hopefully this will shine light on the company as a whole, but I imagine the type of people who like Breitbart probably all blame the woman for getting in the dude’s way. :|

    Why did Breitbart think it was it necessary to point out that Shapiro and Pollak are Orthodox Jews? How is that relevant to him resigning unless they were trying to imply Shapiro was somehow betraying a brother by leaving, or that Shapiro is suspect because he’s a Jewy Jew Jew. Given that it’s Breitbart, either is plausible.

    After Fields and Shapiro resigned, Breitbart published a bizarre story mocking both reporters and Buzzfeed. It appears to have been deleted as of this morning

    Literally everything Breitbart does makes me think they’re run by a collection of thirteen-year-olds standing on each others’ shoulders in trench coats, pretending to be real people.

    Regardless, my reaction to these resignations is pretty much the same as it was to the PR flak who stepped down over the weekend. Good on you for growing a spine when it suited you, but the fact that you willingly slung mud for Breitbart up to the point where the company turned against you speaks much louder volumes.

    Now they’ve had their own Tea Party/Populist monster turn on them because they’ve lost control of their own movement and can’t buy off the biggest lunatic in the field.
