      Fabulous.

ETA: not pictured but in attendance was Maggie Trudeau, who got a standing ovation. What a triumphant and redeeming moment for her.

Has America gotten so bad you have to wear the flag pin on a tux?

      Thanks Obama.

Trudeau, of course, had to spend an uncomfortable amount of time dispelling the notion that Canadians don't usually spew such weird, gross, unexplained objects from their fish-like, unreasonably moist and flaccid lips, and swears it's a true Cruzism.

Trudeau wept, knowing there was simply no excuse he could offer for that. He tried, weakly, to promote the Flames, but knew, down deep, it was a pitiful effort, doomed to fail.

It’s all fun and games up until the point when Trudeau starts making everybody watch VHS tapes of The Red Green Show* and Corner Gas**.

      Agreed.

So, you see that photo. Two bright, intelligent men, laughing, joking and probably enjoying what would be an intensely interesting discussion to hear. Imagine then hammering out diplomatic issues, having each other’s backs in international disputes, and forging an even closer relationship between two countries who are a lot more similar than you might think.

Now ... swap Donald Trump out for Barack Obama.

    ....

    ....

    ....

    What the fuck America?

Man, Obama and Trudeau sure seem to have big hands. I wonder if that upsets any of the R candidates.
