      Ohhhh that was the best episode of Cribs ever. Method Man comes in as a close second. The sheer number of wardrobe changes she had in the 15 minute segment was incredible.

    Mariah isn’t a celebrity I want to know better or see behind-the-scenes of. That would completely ruin the image I have of her. Don’t even tell me that she doesn’t take champagne showers and milk bubble baths attended by bedazzled male models that gently fan her with gold leafed palm fronds. Or that she doesn’t use a new bottle of polish for each nail. Don’t ruin the fantasy of angelic choirs singing when she farts. I DON’T WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH, YOU FUCKING WALNUTS!

      I think it’s the idea of capitalizing off something that is detrimental to the person involved...I have not heard alcoholism rumors; if that is the cause of her behavior (rather than extreme celebrity mindset) that makes me less excited about this too.

    Mariah Carey was responsible for the single greatest episode of MTVCribs in history.

    Amen. Everyone else’s episode just seemed so “ok whatever” compared to hers.

    Also I love her and will watch her docu/reality series.

      I saw this and was de-light-ed!!! As noted, that Cribs episode was the very best. Just amazing. So the idea of more—well, it made me want to cry a little. But I don’t think it will do Mariah any favors. She’s too divalicious for most people and it could be another unfortunate, “Hell to the no,” episode. (Which, as a viewer, was amazing and wonderful too.) I love trashy reality TV and believe Mariah could really bring it. But as Kara noted, there’s no need for someone as talented and delusional as Mariah to do this. Her track record of good decisions while on TV, has not been great. Remember her “ice cream meltdown” on MTV back in the day? Great TV, but probably not so great to live with afterword.
