    We are having a small gathering on Easter Sunday and we will be serving Ruth Bader GIN-sberg cocktails (really just straight up gin martinis, but with a twist of blood orange instead of lemon) because I am a nerd and my friends are remarkably tolerant of me.

      If Democrats win both the presidency and the senate, she should have to field 57 phone calls a day from Democratic leaders calling for her resignation until she relents. She's a political actor, and she should have to deal with that fact.

      She’ll be 83 on March 15 and she’s still a brilliant legal thinker, so I hope she stays in good health for many more years. Blackmun retired at 85, Stevens at 90.
