Maybe it’s because he SEEMS like he has nothing to hide. I automatically distrust anyone who appears to not have any secrets. Maybe it’s the deep-seated cynicism I have at my very core.

      Trump tends to be right strategically. He says gold plated horseshit whenever the mood strikes, and then he cuts off other Republicans’ knees with the truth once in a while to keep them off balance. The fact that the truth seems to come out only when he wants it to suggests that he knows the difference.
