Mitt Romney is bad at politics. The people who thought this was a good idea are bad at politics. He’s a jobs exporting vulture in funny underwear who put his dog on the rook of his car, and I just don’t get how or why someone got the idea that he would ever appeal to anyone.

Seriously. I’ve never understood why anyone ever thought he could be a viable candidate. I’m still shocked he managed to win a governorship.

Scocca’s suggestion just before the speech, that Mitt attack Trump’s financial and business details, made a hell of a lot of sense. If he had to speak (and God knows he didn’t), he should have stuck to the things he knew.

A Mormon finger-wagging at crazy vulgarian was never going to do a damn thing. Good Lord, Mittens.

I think the issue in this case is less being bad at politics (although he is) and more having utterly no self-awareness or understanding of his complete lack of influence.

I mean, he’s rich! Everyone should listen to what he has to say!!

Wait a minute, are you trying to tell me that having a patrician, out -of touch elitist dipshit scold the electorate over their own choice might make them double down on their choice? Well I never!

Fuck anyone who doesn’t understand that Darth Sidious was the most powerful Sith Lord of all time. Dude could probably empathically influence the entire galaxy, had precognitive powers never before seen in their scope and precision, had telekinetic force powers that even Yoda couldn’t match, and was one of the greatest lightsaber duelists of his era.

A few years back, Mitt also said ‘corporations are people’ and ‘global warming is fake.’ Why the hell weren’t disgusted Republicans spurred to do something about dirty money in politics and their carbon footprints to spite him back then?

What makes you think they’re interested in either of those causes now? They haven’t mentioned either in any debate, nor do they intend to. They are currently interested in being against whatever Trump is for. They’re mad he crashed their silly little party and won’t leave. No ideological shifts have happened or will happen with these “people”.

Whenever I see him, I want to pat him on the head, give him a peanut butter sandwich and a glass a milk, and then go instruct him to go out and play because me an his mother are about to have a grown folks conversation. He is beyond precious.

Oh, Timmy. What troubles are you going to get into next?

    What a Moroni.

Of course. Herr Drumpf’s lumpen don’t give no fucks about a fancypants like Lord Mittens. His effete derision just confirms their faith in the * big-penied rogue outsider straight-talkin’ America back to luxurious greatness.

I just don’t get it. He’s proven himself time and time again to be really in touch with the common man. I mean, that’s why we elected him president by such a wide margin. Why wouldn’t people listen to him?

My favorite/saddest part of the entire Romney campaign is that right up until the end on election night, he honestly, truly, thought he had it in the bag and was going to be moving into the White House.

That level of self-delusion is worthy of some kind of a prize.

Sometimes, there’s so much beauty in the world I feel like I can’t take it, and my heart is just going to cave in...

With Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz seemingly positioned to fight it out for the Republican presidential nomination, Democrats are now poised to take over the Senate in November.

May? Trump’s support is anti-establishment. Romney is as establishment as one can be, now if he had endorsed Trump......

I think our only hope is for Obama to endorse Trump. Cognitive dissonance can only be stretched so far, right?
