    Just as her husband was the greatest president ever, Mrs. Reagan was the greatest First Lady ever. From her invention of the Swiffer to her ability to negotiate the destruction of the USSR, she was incomparable. I have already renamed the cul de sac I live in The Nancy Reagan Memorial Circle. All women could learn a little something from her.

    The First Lady is generally the more human and relatable side of the person who serves as President, but Nancy Reagan is the lest liked and most imperial of all the living FLOTUSes of my lifetime. Even Pat Nixon was the soul of warmth and humanity when compared to this harridan for whom butter wouldnt melt in her mouth.

    Between ‘Just Say No’ and her reliance on astrologers, she is definitely going to end up as a poorly regarded First Lady.

      Apparently Barb and Nancy loathed each other. I read a (possibly apocryphal) anecdote years ago that Nancy considered red to be ‘her’ color. When she saw Bush wearing it one day, she freaked out and ordered her to change her outfit.
