I’m gonna say it again. If the bright media, whether left leaning or no, teamed up together, made a pact, exclusive of Fox, and if they made a pact like the GOP is making now as against Trump, and ignored Trump, he would be done. Finished. Now, I understand that’s a lot of ifs, and I understand that the GOP banding together might be a con, and I understand that there’s a moral imperative, as it were, to expose him as bigoted, homophobic, misogynist, all that. I get it. We all get it. But the media isn’t called the Fourth Estate for nothing, and eventually, his voting bloc is gonna top off, if he’s not getting close to it already.

But I don’t see how that “endgame,” even if it pans out famously for him, really helps him, if one humbly accepts that his voting bloc is gonna be at a limit. But I’d love to hear your thoughts on that, and on your post as well. .... You there?

I’m glad the Black Lives Matter protesters are doing this. Trump and the Republican party are running out of wiggle on what they bring out in people. And frankly I’ve never seen anything like it in close to 40 years.

I also think Black Lives Matter time is better spent protesting the Donald Trump rallies rather than following Hillary Clinton around trying to feel personally affronted over comments she made about gang members 2o years ago. What’s going on with The Trump rallies is a more of a danger and should be addressed.

Ah-fucking-men. Let’s stop playing the circular firing squad game until these jackboots on the other side have lost POTUS and both houses of congress. Then we can quibble about word usage like we’re in a cozy little college seminar.

It’d really improve the ambiance of Trump’s rallies if he held them at night, by torchlight. It really energizes your supporters, and I think it’d be a great way to acknowledge previous movements like his.

I mean, they already have the festive headgear.

Correct. And he’s not there on some sort of “principle.” He’s running for POTUS as a challenge to himself. Simply to see if he can do it. This is just another huge deal he’s trying to pull off, some negotiation against all odds. The end result in his mind is not that he’s POTUS but that bought POTUS for cheap, that he shorted the country and won, that he bought the victory with his own money. This isn’t complicated, IMHO.

Serious question: what are these protestors trying to prove exactly?

All this is doing is getting Trump more free press. And when it comes to Trump and those who follow him, all free coverage is good coverage.

I guess my point to these protestors is: you aren't helping.

Let’s see… a white man doesn’t understand the importance of black protesters protesting against a bigoted fascist being rallied around by known white supremacist. Colored me surprised.

If you think this sort of press is helping Trump, you’re a lot dumber than you look. All this is doing is send more black voters to the polls to vote against this orange scrotal growth.

But I’m sure that is a lot for you to comprehend. Best if you just went back to straightening your fedora and looking at creep shots on reddit.

Are there any queers in the theater tonight?
Get them up against the wall!
There’s one in the spotlight, he don’t look right to me,
Get him up against the wall!
    That one looks Jewish!
    And that one’s a coon!
Who let all of this riff-raff into the room?
    There’s one smoking a joint,
    And another with spots!
    If I had my way,
I’d have all of you shot!

    Where are the other minorities?

Someone brought this up on Twitter yesterday and I thought it was such a good point. Donald Trump has made disgusting statements against Muslims and Latinos and has proposed discriminatory policies against them. So why are black people the only minorities showing up to confront him?

When the controversy surrounding the Oscars came up, a lot of minorities complained, especially on Twitter, that they felt left out of the conversation and it seemed to focus on blacks and black people weren’t mentioning them as well. Many blacks said that these other groups should get some skin in the game and speak up for themselves. That’s it not black people’s responsibility to do the work for them, especially in light of the anti-blackness that runs in some of these other minority communities and how these other communities try to play both sides and criticize groups like BLM and point out how THEY don’t do such rude things like protesting. And this is a GREAT example of what those black people meant. Why are black people the only ones fighting on this?

Uh, I was at the rally and there were plenty of Asians and Latinos.

Also ETA : One of the first people that got thrown out of a Trump rally for questioning him was Latino. There were plenty of articles about it, or did you forget?

Here’s something I’ve noticed about the Oscars So white campaign : Plenty of Asians and Latinos were speaking up about it, but the media only looked to tokenize and pat themselves on the back, so they only choose to highlight the voices of black folks. Not the fault of black people obviously, but the idea that other minorities don’t do anything is a myth that people love to propogate for two reasons - 1. For the conservatives to be like “Oh look at these black folks, they’re the only ones causing trouble. What’s their problem, they should stop whining.” 2. For the liberal media to tokenize the struggle instead of propagating true solidarity.

Here is the question for me...

Is it that no one in the Trump campaign cares or is this some sort of insane game plan on their part?

The protesters are clearly baiting Trump and his supporters, god bless the people doing this because I don’t have the guts but they want nothing less than a violent reaction, come this fall regardless of if Trump is the nominee the airwaves are going to be drenched in commercials of this outright violence towards peaceful protest by black activists and either Trump encouraging it or whoever the other unlikely other nominee at this point might be refusing to publicly denounce it.

Awesome job Trump, as a liberal I was a little worried about black turnout in November but you are fucking idiots if you don’t know that this is a completely intentional coordinated effort to encourage violent behavior by your party that will be thrown in your face big time come the general, it’s just only a matter of time before everyone unaware of your behavior including a powerful black voting block and you know, everyone with a basic sense of decency is pissed the fuck off and just waiting to line up at the polls.

I think they’re banking on more racist white people showing up in favor of Trump than the number of black voters showing up in favor of the Democrat (yes I know Hillary is a goddess among blacks, but I don’t think it’s a stretch to say there are more bigoted whites than any blacks in the country)

Well, and like, Trump came to NEW ORLEANS which is extremely liberal and extremely non-white. There were suburbs on the outside he could have hidden in, and he chose an area where he knew he’d get protested out the ass.

That is flawless. I kind of hate that Pink Floyd has to be used in this way, but goddamn if that song doesn’t fit him perfectly. And if he gets elected, I’m assuming “Run Like Hell” will be the theme of the exiting (sane) masses.
