Stealing. Hair. That sounds like something so effing crazy that it'd be a viable career path in the Mad Max universe. What year is this? Where am I? What the hell is happening?!

In some countries thieves have been known to cut off women’s ponytails and braids to steal their hair :(

This story was given credence, on the news, in 2016. That dead people’s hair might be, could be, definitely, is cursed. 2016.

The hair doesn’t even come from dead people usually. It come from India and other parts of Asia.

To be fair this story has what people seem to like nowadays - demons and xenophobia.

However, now some locals have decided that the money isn’t the motive—it’s that the hair itself is haunted by evil spirits

Not as crazy a concept as I originally thought...

“I personally pray over everything I purchase.”

Just last year there was a story about demonically possessed sweaters bought at consignment shops. So demonic hair isn’t too outlandish. Mine certainly is.
