I don’t even mind this absolutely shameless advertisement because I really like Chrissy Teigen.

An advertisement suggests I was given the book and paid by its publisher to review it. I bought the book myself and reviewed it out of sheer glee over its content.

Is it worth full price, or do I wait for it to pop up *Like New* on Amazon? I feel like that’s the ultimate test.

Sounds like someone needs to put a food processor on his wish list. No more mincing and finely dicing! Just throw all that shit in and hit a button!

You are so right. I got a food processor this year for my birthday, and it has changed my life! I make hummus, pie crusts, hashbrowns (oh my GOD, the hashbrowns), and it’s so easy and good. HIGHLY recommend.

We registered for a small “mini chopper” for our wedding. It was life-changing, and we soon bought a full-sized food processor because the small one was just too small for some projects. My husband is obsessed with the grater attachment. No more scraping your fingers and shredding your sponge with the box grater!

Leftover lentil soup! It’s way less depressing than that sounds, because it’s got so much lemony goodness in it. Several of my coworkers came by the kitchen, saying “What is that?!” which I found deeply gratifying.

i am so sick of listening to skinny, beautiful women talk about how much they love to eat and they eat so much, and they love food, and food that is BAD FOR THEM, and isn’t it so cute because they are still so skinny and beautiful! please.

Thank you. And I’m a woman who is currently going over her Weight Watchers points today because of a chocolate pudding.

I like Chrissy. I do. I just don’t see her and John eating most of this stuff. They’ve got designer clothes to fit into and pretty pictures to take.

ALL THE HUGS TO YOU, MY LOVE!

You can always count on me lurking, no matter what. For some reason, kinja just started hating me on my phone and won’t let me sign in and that’s where I spend most of my Gawker/Jezzie time. Anyhoo I am NYC based. Are you????

“.... is the logical next step in her presumed path towards building the country’s next big lifestyle brand. It is everything we know about Teigen—her passions, her humor, her dog, her family, her husband, her entire aura—laser-focused into print form.”

This sounds exactly like Kristin’s book ! It’ll be about really just everything in her life! And only 12 more days to wait!

The ground chicken browned on the stove (perhaps too long, because I refuse to give salmonella a chance)

This is 100% my philosophy and approach when it comes to cooking chicken.

Dry chicken for life. You know how you’re not supposed to cut into the middle of a piece of meat to see if it’s cooked because it let’s all the juices escape? Fuck that.

Oh I do that ALL the time. In fact, I find chicken that’s too moist to be off-putting. Yes, I am a weirdo and I may have a disproportionate fear of salmonella.

I may get this cookbook. I go to her website often and I’m never disappointed. She’s a fun cook and that’s pretty much all I require, aside from actual good cooking, from my online chefs.

Also love seeing John pop up to cook something randomly. They seem to enjoy each other so much. Please don’t break up ever. Who said that?

Also I love that her mom lives with them. No idea why, but I find it sweet. Like Mrs. Robinson going to live with the Obamas at the White House.

Full disclosure I am a massive fan of Chrissy & her website SoDelushious. I am in love with the book. I’ve cooked a couple things & am actually taking it on a trip back home to cook some stuff for my family. The recipes are spot on just like her website. I had high expectations for the cookbook & it has exceeded them. I would absolutely recommend the book to any & everyone.

The first thing I made from this was the armadillo garlic bread, which does not contain armadillo but mayo mixed with butter and two kinds of cheese, along with the garlic. The armadillo part refers to a genius cutting technique which allows you to pull off cheesey/garlicky/buttery wads of hot calories. Fucking delicious. I also made the orzo cauliflower salad. It was awesome. I’ve made three things from it already and only had the book two days.
