    I was just on Jeopardy last week! There were a few Canadians at my audition. I hope they resolve the issue because I think the best possible contestants, regardless of nationality, are necessary for good competition. And I had tough competition. Most of the Internet was nice to me, but this was my favorite mean tweet

    Wow...I’ve spent the last few months brushing up on my American history and watching reruns so I could take the test. I’m hugely disappointed in this, being on Jeopardy was on my bucket list, but yet again being Canadian proves to be a barrier to something I want to do. How lame.

      Well the healthcare isn’t *quite* free and I have no idea which subsidized education you’re referring to, but you’re mostly right on the decency. We don’t have Trump. Maybe I will stay after all ;)

    I have the highest respect for our neighbors to the north, and it’s so beautiful up there that they're far better off shutting down the TV, and going outside to appreciate the scenery.

      No, Spring is oooooogly. At least where I live. Dirty old snow. Dry brown grass. Gravel and sand all over the road and dust everywhere. The smell of a million unscooped winter dog poops. I'm just going to stay inside until mid-May at least.

    Ugh, it’s my fault, isn’t it? I kept complaining that the only reason I haven’t been allowed on is because there was such a strong skew towards stupid Presidential history, and they were like ‘FINE, NO WHINY CANADIANS ARE ALLOWED AT ALL NOW, YOU HAPPY?’

        It’s not unusual for contests and game shows to be limited in certain areas because of legal issues. There is an annual yarn company contest I would love to enter, but I can’t because Maryland residents are prohibited. I hope they resolve the issue, but it’s not an anti-Canadian agenda I’m sure.
