The doom and gloom is hilarious. This guy can't even get 35% of his own parties support and people think he is going to win the general election?

I pray that people don't get disgusted and not vote. My fear is that if Bernie doesn't become the nominee too many people will stay away from voting which would be terrible for democrats. We need to get people excited about voting for their local representatives too.

It kinda doesn’t matter if he wins or not. The fact that he’s doing as well as he is shows how fucked we are no matter what.

The most insane thing to me this week was that the Pope criticized him, and everyone took Trump’s side. Trump has been ranting about “political correctness” and gets praised for “telling it like it is.” But when the Pope tells it like it is, it isn’t allowed. The Pope would have been better off bashing Mexicans and Muslims.

I also find it disturbing that Trump, with no depth on the issues and has bizarre plans like building a wall..is seen as more sane and realistic to the media than a 74 year old socialist jew who wants single payer. Tells you about the state of our country. I pray whoever the Democratic nominee is wipes the floor with him

He also, as a man who has never been to war, openly insulted John McCain for being a POW. Didn’t think that would fly all that well in SC, but I guess all that nonsense veteran pandering during the GOP debate that he was too much of a baby to attend worked out in the end...

Hey, we get the world we deserve, right?

This really is embarrassing. They are supporting a man who has no values and no policies just because he says what he wants. I am truly scared. I don’t think a Democrat is a shoo-in at all against Trump.

Trump LITERALLY said on a debate stage that Planned Parenthood wasn’t bad because they do a lot of good things for women (he’s correct!!) but to say that on a republican debate stage and still be the most supported candidate is utterly dumbfounding.

Bigger story is how bad Bush and Kasich did.

Add their (currently) 17% combined support to Rubios (currently) 22% you get a solid two man race with Cruz likely being pushed out. And Rubio with his seemingly ever upgrading AI programming is a scary good candidate.

    1) Kinda disappointed you didn’t go with yuge lead.

    2) A lot of people seem to be amazed that Trump is winning even with his bigoted and sexist comments. I’ve always thought that type of thinking has an outsized showing in the Republican primary voter. I’m more amazed that he’s winning by calling out Republican orthodoxy at almost every turn - he criticizes free trade, says the Iraq war was a mistake, criticizes Wall St., brags he won’t cut Medicare and Social Security, and sniffs around the idea of national healthcare. The dude literally makes fun of the last President of his own party, who supposedly has super high approval ratings among Republicans, and still wins! You’re right, I can’t turn away from the trainwreck and potential end of a major political party.

The average Republican voter hates free trade, both NAFTA and TPP were passed by Democrat presidents. They also hate Wall Street surprisingly. A lot of the things you would think Republicans like, they actually don’t, like Wall Street and corporations. The politicians like them, the voters don’t. Hence all the catering to “small businesses.” Check out What’s The Matter With Kansas? The Iraq War thing would’ve been killer 10 years ago, but I think enough time has passed where even though most conservatives still think it was the right thing to do, they won’t label someone speaking out against it as a traitor anymore.

Yeah, I’ve read the What’s A Matter with Kansas and all that. I just don’t buy that they hated those policies for all those years. Maybe now, because there’s a bunch of anger over their standing in life and they’ve been voting all these pro-gun, pro-choice politicians and their lives still suck. But in my purely non-statistical experiences growing up and living in western Maryland and West Virginia the people voting Republican didn’t think they were hurting themselves economically. They generally knew their policies and bought them hook, line, sinker.

When former President Donald Trump is nominated and confirmed to the Supreme Court in 2029 by the country’s first super-hot female president, Ivanka Trump.

It starts being funny again when archaeologists dig this stuff up and shit their pants from laughing so hard ...or from crying so hard. It’s hard to tell.

Fox News will use this as another opportunity to make 3rd place sound like another 1st place win for Rubio.
