Whenever his poll numbers drop, Trump launches another xenophobic rant. It might play in South Carolina, but it certainly won’t play in a general election—unless a catastrophe on the level of 9/11 occurs during the campaign. However, I believe Trump is close to being tapped out. He has been unable to attract new voters, and when he commits one of his foolish, amateur gaffes he has to resort to xenophobia in an attempt to hold on to his base. If there is a brokered convention, his delegates will probably go to Rubio—and the GOP establishment will have dodged two bullets in Trump and Cruz...

Exactly. He tapped out with the general electorate long ago. But, it’s been clear for a few weeks, now, that even Republicans have had enough, at least in the sense of him winning new GOP voters. He hasn’t benefitted from the dropouts in the field. Doesn’t mean he won’t win the GOP nomination, but no one should be particularly/especially afraid of his chances in November.

As a conservative-leaning voter, I would be very much afraid if we’re still talking about him by September. It’s easy to chalk up his support as being fueled by idiots, but consider: most of those people have grown so accustomed to their values being dubbed the values of idiots that they’ve decided to act accordingly. The GOP brought much of this on itself, but Democrats have been all too willing to goad, and enhance the stereotype with the collective, “do it, do it, do it.”

I’m not a gun expert but I am pretty sure putting bullets coated in blood is really, really bad for them and it would be a pretty incompetent General that would suggest doing so.

I mean if you are going to summarily execute a bunch of Muslims in the most disgusting way possible at least smear them in pig blood and then shot them instead of fucking up your gun too.

If the corrugated packing material caked in old honey running for president actually picked up a Qur’an, he’d realize that being shot by a bullet dipped in pig’s blood wouldn’t even condemn you. Suffice it to say that Allah alone knows best, but as long as one does not willingly ingest it / willfully defy Halal guidelines, it doesn’t matter

Trump and all his BS aside, do we really care what kind of stuff we do just to ISIS if it destroys their morale and will to fight? If this pigs blood stuff was true (the current rumor is that they believe they go to hell if they are killed by a woman, no clue if its true or not, but the internet claims thats why the female Kurd and Christian militias are so effective) why not do it? Because we might offend other Muslims?

So, are you saying we should adopt the same tactics as ISIS by murdering prisoners?

As far as the internet rumor you cited. Use common sense.

It would make us look like superstitious psychos, so yes, I would have a problem with it. I would hope most sane and rational people would have a problem with it.

People with brains, compassion, and a firm grip on rational thinking who need to process this insanity. These articles aren’t for the Trump supporting morons raging into the night. These articles exist to help US survive them.

Pershing actually ran a textbook counter insurgency, not an ignorant gun fucker fantasy campaign. When he had no choice he didn’t shy away from violence, but he was largely respectful of local culture and religious beliefs and went out of his way to avoid killing. So not only is Trump passing off a chain emails as valid foreign policy choice-he’s pissing on the legacy of a legit American military hero.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Pershing was an American hero general like Eisenhower, but he wasn't the incompetent Trump and the email forwards effectively portray him as, either. Which is beside the point, since most of Trump's supporters barely know there was a world war before WWII. They just like the idea of an old-timey American general acting like a savage bigot, and Trump knows that.

    Leviticus 11

“You may eat any animal that has a cloven hoof, divided in two parts, and chews the cud...Regard the pig as unclean, for though has a cloven hoof, it does not chew the cud...Do not eat their meat or touch their dead bodies. You will regard them as unclean.”

Much of the Qur’an is copied straight from the Bible. So I’m not sure why christians don’t have issue with pork...oh yeah. they are quite selective as to what verses they actually follow, as in who they want to feel superior to today.

    “racist murder fantasy”

Isn’t Islam a religion, not a “race”...oh I forgot, it wouldn’t be an article on gawker without that word.

Bless your heart and your aggressive stupidity.

You don’t get Christianity, do you? The entire story of Jesus pretty much explains why Christians aren’t obligated to follow old Hebrew dietary rules.

Why does this not surprise me....

Why in the world would they make the cartridge case out of kryptonite? If they were smart they would have used brass for the cartridge and used the extra kryptonite to make a second bullet.
