    I know they all flee to Miami or Prague if condoms are required.
    But what of the civilians that now don’t use condom because it doesn’t fit the narrative they’re used to jerking off to?
    I wish there was a groundswell of porn depicting condom application in a sexy way for P in V, or, P in A, as a matter of concern for viewer safety.
    Before porn was everywhere, AIDS was fresh in our memory and condom use was waxed poetic by Dr.Dre and Snoop Dogg.
    They used to be sexy and arousing by virtue of them being foreplay.
    Now fellows don’t see condoms anywhere in porn and literally can’t get it up because that’s not part of the erotic map in their head.

      Seriously— the erotic map thing is so, so real. Although I don’t think the government has a place regulating sex between consenting adults, we as a society have a responsibility to be more vocal about condom use and the inaccuracies of the porn industry. Being Puritan about it and saying nothing is unhealthy and perpetuates consumer-driven standards that want to see condomless porn.

      The “sashayed past the board in stiletto heels” bit is what stands out most to me. That reporter was watching her every move with the mindset of a porn viewer, and it shows. Why is it so hard to treat adult performers like they are actual, adult people?

      Our Puritan citizens have done such a good job of demonizing sex for any other reason besides procreation, it’s a miracle anyone can even appear in a porn these days. (OK, you and your married spouse are allowed one expression of physical love per month, but only missionary in bed at home at night with the lights off.)

      I probably enjoy porn a little too much, but maybe instead of dental dams they can work on James Deen not raping and kicking the shit out of girls?
