I have seen what lung cancer does when it gets into the brain, and it is not super great. Best wishes to Big Ang and her family for comfort and peace.

We are lucky. My mom has lung cancer and I asked where does it usually spread next, oncologist said it would be the brain.

She may still be alive now, but if she truly has cancer in her brain and lungs and is in hospital, she probably won’t be for much longer. I don’t understand this weird obsession with “fighting” terminal illness all the way to the end. As soon as her cancer spread she had no chance. I hope she was able to focus on spending quality time with her family and friends and that she wasn’t coerced into treatment that wouldn’t help her.

My great Aunt Gerri was diagnosed with leukemia last January. Instead of fighting it, due to her advanced age, she and her family decided that palliative care was the way to go and they brought in hospice care. She died two months later, but her pain was under control, she got to spend time with her grandkids and great grandkids, and she didn’t spend her final weeks and months in a futile fight just to extend an inevitable and painful disease. It was the right decision, and I’m glad the family didn’t bully her into just clinging on and taking drastic measures when there would be no quality of life there.

Good for her. My aunt was given 4-5 months to live, unless she went on chemo which would—possibly—have extended her life for another year. But, the entire time would be spent in chemo, and mostly in a hospital. She told her oncologist ‘No, thanks. I’m going camping.’ And she did. And was happy. RIP Aunt Jean!

How is a Teen Mom an accurate source here!?!?

It's crazy to me the incestual nature of reality TV. The real word/road rules circle jerk was my first real exposure to it. This one seems so random, though.

Exactly! I can’t stand Jenelle. She needs to be home worried about her kids.

She is indeed dead. I have a friend who is close with the family, and he just posted confirmation.

Plus, it’s on TMZ, and I just read an article in the New Yorker about how amazing TMZ is!

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, a fellow reality TV veteran and friend, took to Twitter to fend off inaccuracies, urging social media users and others to “stop with false reporting,” and pleading to “damn let them be.”

I mean damn can’t we all just leave these people who chose to live their lives under intense public scrutiny alone?!

Oh, come on; just because someone’s on reality tv it doesn’t mean that someone else is morally justified by knowingly falsely reporting that person’s death. That’s beyond the pale, no matter what.
