      There’s been stories around lately about both Tom and Gisele’s eating habits. Neither has ever had coffee. They never eat sugar, gluten, dairy and they avoid foods that cause inflammation, like tomatoes. So it may not just be a “oh, look a model ate” story.

      If it’s your job to do a performance you agreed to do and you don’t have mitigating circumstances ie illness, family issue , then yeah, I can blame her to just not wanting to work.

      She didn’t get paid for performing there, it’s not like a concert where people are there because they bought tickets to see her. The production work at the Grammy’s was not great, and if she was having anxiety over it, there’s no need for her to push herself.

    The production was super sucky. The show itself is super segregated and all the albums by black people are only limited to the ~urban~ and hip hop categories. Whatever, her bailing on the show doesn’t really bother me. Watching Kendrick do that insanely good performance and then watching the awards go to the annoying guy who waters down soul music and the white chick who trademarked “This sick beat” was annoying as hell. I’m not watching this show again, only clips online if I hear anything good happened the next day.

      Also why is Ed Sheeran a thing? There are so many singer-songwriters whose music is just as appealing to a broad audience and actually happens to be not that shitty. And the video and the song Bad Blood sucked. (#JusticeForBlankSpace).

      I can’t believe Kendrick got robbed again. People say it was because 1989 was more popular, or because it was a huge deal in the music culture with spotify and all but last year Beck won even though Beyonce had all that going for her. Smh.

      The mean person in me says that Ed Sheeran’s appeal is because he’s mildly talented, yet unattractive. He’s like “The Voice” rolled up into a person. You get to feel nice that an average joe is making it regardless of the superficial reasons.

    Why WAS the mix so damned bad, anyway? Running the board at the Grammys seems like a pretty plum gig. They can’t be short of highly qualified sound engineers willing to do it.

      Probably because it's one night a year. They got a bunch of people who were out of work to set up, and the more experienced to work their days off from whatever show they are doing. And the most in demand probably don't want to bother with the stress.
