    I really wish Johns eyes would have opened at the end. Everyone knows he is alive & it would been a great promo to have his eyes open. Especially if they would have went with the whitewalker bright blue, since everyone is fucked anyways.

      I kept thinking all the faces would open their eyes and they would be that ice blue. It would have been badass.

      Yet this teaser for being so small has got me SO PUMPED for GOT. It was clearly effective, so I'll give them credit.

    So glad to be alive to witness the 3rd golden age of television! I have been personally blown away lately by the renaissance of sorts that has happened in tv land as of late. Its been an absolute blessing to have shows like this and many others that make the down time within the mundane seem fantastical.

    From the rusty swamps and derelict dwellings of Louisiana, I speak of none other than True Detective. A show that constantly battles between madness and beauty, self contained like an ecosystem in every frame and every shot.

    To the lifeless, desolate, jagged frozen tundras of Winterfell. Where the winters are unforgiving, and bastard executioners make love and war. (In that order). Where dragons fly high, through the sky no less, yet I digress.

      My first thought was True Blood and I was like “lol wut???” And then I as like “Absolutely, true detective, I totes knew that’s what they meant.”

      But I 2nd your sentiment. I've always been more of a TV person and this is an absolute fabulous decade?-ish we've been having.

      It has never been specified. IN the books, is is described as something being cut and pull over the normal face. I assumed they were heads like in Return to Oz, but ones that can be worn over like prosthetic make-up.

    I am SO KEEN for this. GoT and Breaking Bad are the only series I’ve ever watched that consistently shocked me each season, probably because neither pulls any punches when it comes to making horrible situations much, much worse.

      Game of Thrones Fucks With Us All.

      There, fixxored. Not just the trailer, the entire show, which has shown me what a perfect love-hate relationship is. Another person posted here that last season “wore her out” and I totally agree. After the finale, I swore not to watch this season, but instead wait until it ends and then binge watch them all. My hate makes me want to walk away from it, but my love wants to know how it ends. I just wanna get it over with now, I honestly don’t care who wins that worthless iron throne. Half of the idiots wanna put a Targaryen BACK on the throne knowing full well insanity runs in that family (the last one wanted to burn everything), and they’ve forgotten how hard they worked to get rid of him. The only thing left, really, is to see who’s lucky enough to survive this mess. If they kill off Tyrion, I am completely done with it.

      Ok I get it, this is no fairy tale, and they wanna do things differently. But watching Game of Maim on a weekly basis is just depressing. After the Red Wedding I was hoping, ok that’s it. The bad guys are gonna get theirs now. The worst is over. Well it wasn’t. By the time Joffrey finally bit it, it was anti-climatic and unsatisfying. I was thinking I’d dance a jig at his death. For me, Stannis burning his own daughter at the stake was the last straw. You start with the heroic Starks, and then kill them all one by one. They’ve gone so far into the shock value thing, it’s just not enjoyable.

      Somebody PLEASE kill the Boltons. Extra points if it’s slow and painful. Anyone taking bets on a GoT prequel after this is done?

        I’m not taking bets on it, but I would love to see a prequel. They could get a whole season out of Robert’s Rebellion and the events preceding it, if not more.
