I suggest everyone taking a look at the forums and message boards of PoliceOne.com and Officer.com. The awful shit the cops with anonymous message board handles about black people, poor people, BLM activists, and the “anti-police agenda” is enough to make you want to bathe in a bathtub filled with homemade gin.

I do not know if the opinions expressed on those message boards are indicative of all cops, but the racism, class-ism and anti-government rage expressed on them are shocking.

I found myself crying while reading the dismissive, hate-filled comments in a thread about Tamir Rice’s family being billed for his ambulance ride after being shot. These are the people protecting and serving? These are the “good guys”?

It’s disgusting and reflects horribly on anyone in a blue uniform.

The sheer stupidity it takes for a cop to write something so offensive in a public forum makes me wonder why he isn’t the GOP front-runner.

This is no more surprising then hearing the regular wishes of far left pro BLM activists desire the death of police.

Surprise, surprise. A white cop with a shaved head who has the “I Support _____ Police” meme shared as a way to ‘combat’ BLM.

Because in this world where cops who have tasers, pepper spray, nightsticks, bone breakers, zip ties, handcuffs, handguns, shotguns and body armor it’s the cops who are at a disadvantage. Because in the mind of this cop and many others you can’t support BLM and support police. It’s one against the other. To think that BLM has some sort of point in going after reforming police departments and rooting out racist cops is beyond the pale for this guy. How dare BLM even suggest cops reform. How dare they protest against police. How dare they stand up for themselves.

Oh and just to add, this is from the article:

The law enforcement agency has no minority officers. Last year the department had one black officer, but he transferred to another department.

      Huh.

A person that committed suicide, a person of African descent, and a person speaking out against racism. Three of the most hated groups of people in America rolled into one person.

The reaction shouldn’t be too surprising.

Yeah, this is true. I am from Dayton (the “Gem City”!), and it’s like where all the problems of a depressed urban area and all of the problems of a depressed rural area overlap.

My mom lives in Fairborn, so I make it back there infrequently and get reexposed to the dinge.

I feel sad, it looks like MarShawn McCarrel was a great leader and had a lot going for him. Suicide is a terrible thing. I hope his family and friends can find peace.

Look at his adorable face. Look at the goodness that shines from his eyes. We cannot afford to lose people like this. The human race is currently overrun with venal assholes, and we cannot spare folks like this. Black Lives Matter.

It’s unfathomable, the amount of mental anguish he must have been in to commit this act. I also hope his love ones, and his soul, find peace.

Why don’t black people trust the police? Because they are concerned that the police harbor thoughts like this.

This isn’t a free speech issue; this is a public trust issue. Freedom means nothing if you can’t trust the ones who are supposed to be protecting it.
