    One of my students said to me today he was scared to go outside right now because of mosquitoes with the Zika virus. I told him the wind chill was below zero so it was too cold for them. Besides, it was a bigger risk for pregnant women. Even if he did get bite he might get a little sick. He stopped being scared at that point.

        how long before republicans get so divorced from science that they start leaping off cliffs and bridges en masse because flying would be faster than walking and gravity’s just a theory anyway? i really cannot wait
