Oh, so it was incompetence that led him and his staff to sign and stamp that bill. Instead of petty evil. Yay?

Incompetent police leadership hired that officer. Incompetent leadership trained him. Incompetent city officials are letting the officer off the hook. It’s like the they’re the Cleveland Browns of poli -

Thank God, I was about to be outraged! According to Amazon it should only cost like $20 to ship 100 lbs of rice

He said a lot... and never said he was sorry. It’s small, but if he had any dignity he would have offered an apology instead of blaming.. lawyers, and office folk. Fuck him.

We are so sorry this was communicated to the press. We are re-examining our policies and considering adding strict non-disclosure clauses to these bills in the future. We are so sorry if anybody was offended by hearing about this.

Based on the city’s actions during the entirety of this nightmare, I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if this was just business as usual.

From where I’m from, there was a guy pointing a gun at cops yesterday. They unleashed a dog on him be done with it. Local police said there was no reason whatsoever to gun then man down. I read that couple of years ago there were total nine cases where police needed to use gun - even officer saying he has a gun and is willing to use counts as “use”.

USA must have the worst cops ever. Are they at least cheap and easy to bribe? But at least the bureaucrats sound the same everywhere :/

I’m sure this must be so comforting to to Tamir Rice’s family that after a bureacratic snafu failed to communicate the likelihood that Tamir Rice had a toy gun or that he was child to the responding police officers; one of whom, after some sort of bureacratic snafu, had been hired after losing his previous job due to a “dangerous loss of composure” during a firearms review; and the bureacratic snafu that resulted in the ambulance failing to arrive in time to save Tamir Rice, that they don’t actually owe the city of Cleveland 500 bucks. It was a bureacratic snafu. So sorry not that sorry.
