    I am a case manager for low income families. A lot of my clients have some trouble with family planning and regardless of the fact that some of them live off of less that a thousand dollars a month, continue having baby after baby. Do I think it’s right to keep bringing children into poverty? No. Do I keep my opinions to myself because it’s none of my fucking business? Absolutely.

    Just do your jobs and keep your fucking stupid opinions to yourselves you fucking twats. No one cares what you think. Not even your invisible sky daddy.

      Aside from kicking the money lenders out of the temple, Jesus didn’t yell at sinners. He talked to them, invited them to sit with him. So even if she views these ladies’ relationship as an “abomination” (which is bullshit in its own right), the way Jesus (her lord and savior who she claims to walk with) handled shit through kindness and humility, not humiliation.

      Right. What a horrible person. Remember in the ‘old’ days when religious people were nice? Scratch that. They were always hypocritical judgemental jerks. Just more quiet about it.

      About 100 years ago my mom was hanging clothes on the line. Our neighbor left her house, came over and told her she shouldn’t be doing work on the Lord’s day. Hilarious. She knew my mother, no shrinking violet. I remember it like it was yesterday, one of those great childhood moments. Damn she was good.

    I used to work at a small county courthouse in the south. A friend called the County Clerk’s office “the haughty gauntlet,” because we never wanted to go down there to ask for anything. They were known for this weird, power-tripping stuff. I can picture in my mind how this went down.

    I’m so glad Abramovich and Brookover were able to get their license. Congratulations to them! I hope they won’t let the assholes get them down.

      I’m an attorney and deal with clerk’s offices in several counties around me. They weirdly power trip here too. I have to brace myself every time I go in there to ask for anything, because I’m probably going to get a lecture of some sort about how I was supposed to have three photocopies of this, and two of that, and in this courthouse you must include this coversheet, etc. As if I can keep track when they change their policies every year.

    Clerk here. When dealing with an employee who may have acted improperly, any comments to his/her supervisor should be made in writing so it can be placed in that individual’s personnel file.
