Apparently Marco doesn’t realize that NH passed marriage equality legislation in 2010. Of course, Marco’s the dumbass who invited supporters to a pancake breakfast and didn’t have any pancakes.

He wasn’t smart enough to hire a caterer, but thinks he should be president.

NH passed marriage equality legislation in 2010.

And promptly had it reversed by a Republican majority. These shitstains need to understand that part of respecting democracy is respecting the highest court in the land. Sometimes the legislature shouldn’t be voting on people’s rights.

Let’s not act like Obama doesn’t know exactly what he’s doing. Okay? Let’s dispense with the notion that Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing. Obama knows what he’s doing. Some contend Obama doesn’t know exactly what he’s doing. They’re wrong. Obama knows what he’s doing. Algunos estan diciendo que Barack Obama no sabe lo que esta haciendo. It’s just not true. Sabe exactamente lo que esta haciendo. Let’s dispel this fiction that he doesn’t know. Obama knows it. What he’s doing, that is. Obama? Let’s not pretend—for even a second—that Obama—this Obama—isn’t certain what he’s up to. Let’s face it: He is. He knows what he’s doing. This notion that Obama isn’t aware of precisely what he’s up to is complete hogwash. The guy Obama knows what he’s up to. He knows exactly that. Obama knows many things: What he’s up to is certainly one of them, despite what the others on this stage might believe. Perpetuating this bamboozlement that President Barack isn’t apprised of his own actions, when it comes to his own behaviors? It’s wrong, don’t do it please. Why? Because Mr. O knows what’s up! He knows what he’s doing: Don’t you? You ought to. Let’s not—for even a moment—make believe that the President—if you’d even call the guy that—doesn’t know what he’s into these days. His actions are exactly what he knows about. He knows about them, and that’s precisely why he’s doing them. He does them, which is why he’s aware of them. Did you suggest Obama isn’t cognizant of his deeds? You fool! Our commander-in-chief most certainly is. Heck, if anyone knows what Obama is doing, you better believe it’s Obama. He wrote the book on what he’s doing: The Audacity of Hope. But I’m not buying it. Not the book, certainly, and not this notion that our leader isn’t aware of how he comports himself. Better believe he knows that. のは、オバマ氏は、彼がやっているかわかりませんふりないようにしましょう。彼は彼がやっている正確に何を知っています。And, finally, why can’t we just stop lying and saying that Obama doesn’t know what he’s done. He knows what he’s doing. He knew what he was doing. He has known what he had done. तपाईं ओबामा थाहा छैन उहाँले गरिरहेको छ के भन्छन्। यो झूट छ। ओबामा उहाँले गरिरहेको छ के थाह छ।. Obama’s up to something, okay? He says he’s not, and you say he’s not, but he is. And do you know who knows exactly what it is that he’s up to? I know!: It’s Obama.

It makes me mad that the best chicken tenders in southern NH were sullied by the presence of this homophobic robot man.

yeah I confess I didn’t spend a lot of time in northern NH growing up, but I lived on those tenders in middle school and high school, especially after theater practice.

So Rachel, nobody at Jez or Gawker is going to do the gossip about Marco being possibly maybe on the DL? I mean, you guys do gossip and there’s something there. At least do a story on the park arrest and gay porn connection.

Yeah, that was me. I linked and linked and I figured people are getting sick of me linking to it so I didn’t this time. But I remember they did a story on Rubio allegedly having an affair with a lobbyist. They did that story despite there being less proof of that affair than there is for him being in a glass closet. Allegedly.

    That’s a pretty remarkable exchange.

“I believe this, if you don’t believe it, then change the laws.”

    “The laws did change.”

    “Don’t care, lalalala.”

    Get lost, robot.

Mr. Rubio continued: ‘I think that’s what the law should be. And if you don’t agree you should have the law changed by a legislature.’

Has this dumbfuck never heard of Loving vs. Virginia? The law in that case said that marriage should be between a man and a woman of the same race, and it stood until the Supreme Court overturned it.

Where’s Rubio’s outrage over that law being voided by a court ruling rather than by legislation? Smeary little hypocrite.

“I respect your view,” the politician said, “patting Mr. Kierstead on the shoulder and starting to walk away.”

His performance is more evidence in support of what my wife says about elected officials: “We’re not constitutents any longer; we’re irritants.”

I love how he talked everyone through his actions.

“I respect your view, as I smile very graciously. I then pat your shoulder as un-condescendingly as possible, and slowly and gracefully move along. Goodbye, I sung.”

I hate being touched by people that I don’t know (I don’t know how pregnant women handle it) and I especially hate being condescendingly touched by men. If that happened to me, I would probably be in jail right now for punching the bastard.

‘Well,’ replied Mr. Kierstead, ‘that’s your belief.’

I so so so wish he had followed that up with “My beliefs are different. Why should I have to live my life by your beliefs?” I know nothing is going to change people like Rubio and what they believe, but I wish the dialogue focused more on the right literally forcing their beliefs on others through legislation, instead of the beliefs themselves. It’s an effective appeal; that’s why religious morons have starting crying about their “freedom”, and now regularly use words like “tolerance.” And at the very least, I would have liked to hear Rubio’s answer to such a question.

Yes, like who cares what you believe. We’re at a point in history where beliefs aren’t enough. You can’t just sacrifice people every full moon to satisfy the Sun God. You need to prove your belief actually will have some societal benefit when followed.

It’s not our freedom, but our dick-waving “everyone has to play by OUR rules” way of thinking that makes the rest of the world hate us.
