    As a Pass Christian native, I’d like to add that the Pass Christian parade has always been a red neck shit show. There’s always a handful of fights, some broken faces, mustangs stuck in the mud, questionable looking swamp donkeys with methed out boyfriends...etc...pretty good time all things considering.

      Pass Christian probably lost more in Katrina that NOLA did. It was pretty much decimated, IIRC.

    One of my besties lives there - luckily he & his fam were getting ready for the Super Bowl when this was going on. I didn’t even know the city *had* 50k + people in it.

    Fun fact: Mobile, AL is the home of Mardi Gras, 15 yrs before NOLA was even founded. :-)
