    this is a woman who’d give anything to have had any of Reagan’s DNA on some treasured dress of hers.. And lest not forget, had saint ronny not “forgotten” things, and become a pitiful old Alzheimer man (who we saw no photos of in this condition... hmmm..) and the Iran-Contra affair actually stuck to him as his responsibility, he would’ve died a much more loathed figure than nixon. Instead he’s remebered as saint ronny... and not the biggest crook to have occupied the 20th century white house... (as should be the case reflected in future “US history”...)

      He is the patron saint of modern conservatism, and yet the actual Reagan bears no relation whatsoever to the Reagan of popular mythology. We know he was a doddering fool who had no idea what was going on, and was merely the mouthpiece for the evil Cheney/Rumsfeld Cabal v1.0. As far as evil, terrible presidents go, there’s W and then there’s everyone else. But Reagan is in the discussion for that distant second place.

        Oh come on, how could you bring up Peggy Noonan without this little bit of wonderment???

        After gushing about what a great and gutsy choice it was for McCain to pick Palin, she got caught saying exactly how she really felt, and yet didn’t suffer any consequences.
