    Poppers seem really skeevy and unhealthy to me. I’m not sure how much they can “help”, but I tend to associate it with everything negative and risky that’s prevalent in the gay male scene.

    Like if you NEED to sniff a dubious bottled drug substance every other minute to maintain your lumber-chopping boner, you have some deeper issues.

      You associate it with everything negative because that’s what has been communicated to you about “the gays” and how “skeevy and unhealthy” they are.

      People get drunk all the time to get their sexy times, not to mention all the expensive prescription drugs doled out so people can keep their boners hard (did you know penis pumps are covered by medicare?). But when gay culture finds one that works, it’s instantly “too dangerous” for use and completely banned from the country.

    Interesting. I've never actually heard of anyone using these outside of porn. Had no idea they were widely used. Pretty cool of him to put his personal life out there for this, though you'd hope that wouldn't be necessary.

    We used to pass around poppers in choir when I was in high school. Things were fun back in the olden days. And somewhere, I have a pin from Quicksilver brand poppers. Like a flag pin but for poppers.

      A friend of mine had a bottle of that stuff leak into his duffel bag while we were driving up to SLO from LA. I knew what poppers smelled like, but having my whole interior permeated with that chemical put me off ever wanting to try them.

      Yes, it was a black leather interior; thanks for asking.
