Yep. “This guy” would eat DT for breakfast in about two minutes. That’s what’s so hilarious about Trump having such a hard on for Putin.

Fox News declares Putin is better for America than Obama because we all know that Putin never ever does anything unconstitutional.

Except that Trump is the only one that has anything nice to say about Putin. All the other GOP candidates are calling Putin a gangster and a bully. The GOP support for Putin doesn’t really exist.

Ah, the classic Russian “whataboutism” deflection...deployed quite literally in the defense of Russia.

If you meant to do that, I’m slightly impressed.

Weird now that I’m reading this story for the first time since his death. I always thought he was pricked by the tip of an umbrella laced with the polonium. Now I realize I’m getting my shit mixed up: That was Georgi Markov.

    *head slap*

    Classic mixup.

Man, I remember watching a tv show about that in the late 80's/early 90's as a kid and it scared the shit out of me.

      Probably zero.

But if he is able to poison even one that would make a great, great story. So, I’m crossing my fingers.

You missed out one of the more interesting conclusions of the report - that it was almost certainly a state sponsored action, because that isotope of polonium needs to be produced in a nuclear reactor.

And Russia is the only country which still recovers 210Po on a large scale.

Not to mention the radioactive trail not only led all the way across London, but could be picked up on their seats on the BA plane that took them back to Moscow.

I realize this was a huge scandal when it happened... but years later the story is still insane. Russian agents brought radioactive material to London and then poisoned a guy. If it was anyone other than Russia, you wonder if they would even still have diplomatic relations with the UK.

Putin: Please, these allegations are nothing but a bunch of.. how you say.. polonium.

Putin: The embarrassment, it.. how so say.. radiates off of me.
