    There really isn’t any case being made as to why he can’t use a hovercraft versus a regular boat. Sounds like the rangers were just abusing their authoritah. I’m gonna hafta side with the hunter on this one. NP for the hovercraft.

      Because hovercrafts are FANTASTICALLY loud. They are an intrusion into the wilderness miles and miles way. Thats one of the things the parks are focusing on a lot nowadays - these ‘soundscapes.’ I live in alaska, I hunt moose, and I fucking hate hovercrafters and airboaters. That said, these rangers are total dicks for telling him he can’t even pilot it back to his truck.

      Ah, I see, none of that was mentioned and makes me change my mind. I like the quiet. And yeah, those guys were dicks. Is there any way to make hovercrafts quieter? I now remember being outside a hovercraft - ferry and it was awful, I guess those pumps that keep it inflated are really loud.

      I hope they prevail for all of us riding in vehicles shooting animals. Hovercraft, fan boat, jet fighter, tank, they are all valid for hunting damn it! If I want to take my hovercraft out and shoot a rpg at a gopher, I damn well better able to do it. I stand with you militiamen, for bravely defending our rights to fuck with national parks. What exactly is too much for these guys? Arson, illegally fucking with the park service, and the bureau of land management, not paying fees or taxes. It’s like for fuck’s sake people, stop being entitled pricks and work within the law like the rest of us. You can lobby your congress rep to get things changed. Trying to force an armed standoff so you can get off on fighting the evil government is just stupid. It’s just a bunch of assholes thinking they will get their way because they are armed. I’m still hoping for a drone strike to end this. As for the Bundy guy, he hasn’t paid his fees? Seize his damn land. You don’t want to pay taxes? Enjoy Capone’s fate.
