It’s a good thing I already detest “American Pie.” I hate it when a famous person does something horrible and I have to start hating everything they’ve ever done in their entire lives.

This is why I fully subscribe to the ‘separate the artist from the art’ school of thought.

Gotta love Maine’s attitude that all celebrities are CRIMINALS.

“He’s not the first celebrity we’ve dealt with and he won’t be the last.”

(granted, the celebs I know of in that area are currently this guy, Martha Stewart, and Commander Riker, and 2/3 criminals isn’t a great rate).

    Starry, Starry Night,

He beat her face up blue and grey

    On that cold January day

His fists showed the darkness in his soul.

Because it’s 7 hours long which means That One Lady can’t get up there and sing “You’re So Vain” AGAIN like she does EVERY WEDNESDAY?

My first thought was “wait, didn’t this already happen?” and then I saw the related stories thumbnail about Steely Dan.

What the hell is going on? Did a bunch of aging rockers make the absolute worst New Years resolution pact ever?

Random, but Don McLean has awful groupies. For some unknown reason my college booked him to play, and I was working as event staff. I lost count of how many women were pulling us all aside to ask where his dressing room was because they oh Just Loved Him So Much. They were pushy and obnoxious. I hated that song and I still do. They were worse than the people I saw fighting over Busta Rhymes’ ball sweat rag.
