    What’s worse is that Sikh’s tend to be the most patriotic, and in keeping with their religion, often serve in roles to help or protect the public- cops, soldiers, etc. When they served for the British, they would often fight to the death, rather than surrender.

    In short, they are badasses, in the best kind of way.

    They’re many of ideals that America aspires to, but don’t deserve.

      My county has a small Sikh population, and they are the warmest, most inviting, open, gracious group of believers I have ever met.

      Maybe the issue is security on LA’s public transit system.

        Crime on LA public transit, as with most large US urban public transit systems, is lower than crime in the region as a whole.

        This incident is one too many but more a person in the wrong place at the wrong time than an indictment on LA transit as a whole.
