    Also, I give Sean Penn about 8 more days. For the irony, of course. Wait, is it ironic? I know the Ironic lyrics aren’t ironic, but would Sean Penn only living for 8 more days be ironic? WTF is irony, anyway? Alanis doesn’t know because she was chomping on ecstasy tabs when writing that album. I think her popping chips into her mouth in the back seat of the car is symbolism. I just came up with that theory. Mind fucking blown. What was I talking about? I’m rolling.

      I think a statement or narrative or set of facts is (passively) ironic if there’s an obviously weird or funny gap between 2 different meanings or interpretations of it, such as the intended meaning of a statement vs. literal or subjective interpretations, or between contrasting allegorical meanings of a single symbol, scene, story, statement, or whatever. It’s usually based on the ambiguity that a rich context offers. That’s my opinion though.

        Oh shit. I was just reading the interview and wondered if it had anything to do with his capture.

        I hate to say it, but El Chapo comes off as ... likable .... in that article. Even Penn had a hard time remembering all the evil he’s done. Of course, Sean Penn has done his fair share of evil. Just ask Madonna’s face. :(
