Jesus, not this shit again. As Bernie Sanders said the other day, “Stop obsessing about Bill Clinton’s wiener you weird fucking obsessed Republican weirdos” (paraphrased a wee bit).

Republicans can’t or won’t attack Hillary on substantive grounds, so they’re reduced to bringing up her husband’s dirty past (much of which was dirtied by Republicans for partisan purposes in the first place).

But of course a dumb ol’ sexist asshat would immediately blame a woman for her husband’s sins when she rightly points out Trump’s sexism. Of course.

It’s amazing how Republicans consistently start caring about rape whenever a Democratic politician or brown person is involved.

I’m going to reply to your comment because it is the closest to being on topic and god help me if i am going to go down into the grays and discuss this with those assholes. But the Dems have had their head in the sand about what a problem Bill is for Hillary for 8 years. It didn’t come up in ‘08 because she never got out of the primary, but this is going to be an absolute shitshow of a general election.

Because like it or not, Bill’s sexual history is full of accusations of misdeeds, both criminal and moral. It’s not just Broaddric. Hell, even the Lewinsky thing is creepy as shit, and a politician flirting with and fucking interns is the exact kind of thing we have rightfully pilloried Republicans for. And no, it’s not fair to put that on Hillary. But it is going to be an issue in the election, just like every candidate’s family is. And we can’t keep pretending like it doesn’t matter.

A very shitty, very Trumpish thing to do, but it’s not surprising. He more than likely invited the Clintons, not because they’re close family friends, but because everything Trump does he does yuuge. What’s yuger than being able to tell people you got a former president and his wife to attend your wedding? The answer is nothing. Nothing’s that yuge.

To somehow, above all racist, xenophobic, sexist odds, become the President yourself.

I think that’s his “there’s nothing bigger than this” moment.

I’m gonna say it: Bill is a liability to Hillary’s campaign.

He shouldn’t be, and it isn’t fair, but flashbacks to 1998 do not help Hillary at all.

lol. nope. Bill is practically a rockstar anywhere he goes at this point. Just because Trump rattles off some more idiotic words about him doesn’t make him a liability at all. In fact, it makes him look even more foolosh (as if that was possible).

Unless you also consider the economic gains this country had under that same guy. Then it’s a plus. Honestly, he is more well liked than all of the current candidates put together, including his wife, so I wouldn’t bank on him being a liability to her.

      1. More than a few women have publicly accused Clinton of rape. The Monica Lewinsky scandal is not what Trump is talking about about.

      2. That being said, Trump is almost certainly a rapist as well.

What’s “weird” is the angle you’re taking. Instead of discussing Clinton’s history of sexual misconduct, you take Trump’s referencing that history to task. Trump is a walking fart, but that doesn’t make a difference. Why would you whitewash the allegations?

Thank you. 100 stars. Silencing the voices of rape victims is not what we liberals are about. Not what we should be about, anyway. A male writer claiming that serious allegations of rape are no biggie because the male rapist was invited to a male baboon’s wedding party. Uh... where is the victim’s voice in this? Is the gawkerz really getting so bad that Trump is doing a better job of speaking up for women who are raped!? I need a shower.

Oh which rape victims are those?

Even the Paula Jones settlement didn't have bill admitted guilt or apologize

The one who initially denied it only to change her story after WJC pardoned one of her friends parents killer and after her brother got involved with Ken star?

The one who in a deposition for ken star said bill had not done anything he was accused of but ultimately accused bill of orchestrating the suicide of her husband?

How about the others that were all in consensual adult relationships even though it was outside of marriages?

And I respect women so much and I’ll protect women and I’ll protect them and I’ll protect the whole country.

At this point, you would figure that I would be jaded or numb to it, but I still find myself stunned that the front running candidate for one of our country’s two major political parties can talk like this in 2015 and not just be laughed out of the race for his party’s nomination.

I mean, what a bunch of stupid, eight year old language level non-sense. My podunk bumblefuck Texas high school student council elections back in the early 2000s featured candidates who spoke off the cuff more eloquently than he does.

I can’t believe you’re going to make me defend that prick Trump, but his ex-wife recanted those accusations, which is something Broderick never did.

You’re drawing a false equivalency, you’re being irresponsible, and . . . oh, look; that link goes right to one of your stories. I see what you’re doing. Gawker on, Sam. Gawker on.

Or for fuck’s sake. Are we now going to equate Clinton’s fucking around with rape? Kind of like Camille fucking Cosby has equated her husband’s actions? Give me a break. Clinton, while being a filthy dog of a husband, is not a rapist. He’s just a run of the mill hound dog serial cheater and while I think he was an straight up good POTUS he was - and probably still is - a shit husband and father (because if you’re not respecting the mother of your child/children you’re a shit father, no matter what else you do, end of).

These people will reach and reach and reach and at the end of the day people who actually have a brain have to just laugh at this shit while still debunking it. So sick of the absurdity of American politics. It’s simply gross these days.

Now would be a good time to let you know that no one is talking about Lewinski, and yes, Bill Clinton has been accused of rape... on multiple occasions.

But hey, let’s look past that cause he’s married to the person we want to be President... AMIRIGHT?!

Oh, you’re absolutely correct! I’ve been thinking about this and, you know what? I’ve got an idea! There should be a far-ranging, independent investigation into all of these Clinton allegations. Maybe then, we can finally get to the truth behind all the suspicious and, most likely criminal, activities that Bill and Hillary have been involved in, going all the way back to their days in Arkansas. I don’t care if it takes years, or how much money it costs —— this is something that has to be done, for the good of the American Public. An investigation like this is long, long overdue. The Clintons have managed to avoid scrutiny for far too long, and I, for one, am sick of it!

Also, just to make sure that the investigation is not sidetracked by Clinton Supporters in High Places, the Special Investigator needs to be totally beyond reproach, and willing to follow all leads, no matter where the investigation ends up. In fact, I can think of a guy who would be perfect for the job, if he’d be willing to take some time off, as he’s currently the president and chancellor at Baylor University, down in Texas, but he’s just the kind of guy who would get to the bottom of this, once and for all.

I nominate Ken Starr! Why no one ever thought of this before now is, quite frankly, beyond me.

Juanita Broaddrick describes Bill Clinton raping her, as recounted in her NBC interview:

Then he tries to kiss me again. And the second time he tries to kiss me he starts biting my lip … He starts to, um, bite on my top lip and I tried to pull away from him. And then he forces me down on the bed. And I just was very frightened, and I tried to get away from him and I told him ‘No,’ that I didn’t want this to happen but he wouldn’t listen to me. … It was a real panicky, panicky situation. I was even to the point where I was getting very noisy, you know, yelling to ‘Please stop.’ And that’s when he pressed down on my right shoulder and he would bite my lip. … When everything was over with, he got up and straightened himself, and I was crying at the moment and he walks to the door, and calmly puts on his sunglasses. And before he goes out the door he says ‘You better get some ice on that.’ And he turned and went out the door.”

When asked if there was any way Clinton could have thought it was consensual, Broaddrick said “No, not with what I told him and with how I tried to push him away. It was not consensual.”

Broaddrick shared the hotel room with her friend and employee Norma Rodgers. Rodgers attended a conference seminar that morning, and says she returned to their room to find Broaddrick on the bed “in a state of shock,” her pantyhose torn in the crotch and her lip swollen as though she had been hit. Rogers says Broaddrick told her Clinton had “forced himself on her.” Rogers helped Broaddrick ice her lip, and then the women left Little Rock. Rogers said that Broaddrick was very upset on the way home and blamed herself for letting Clinton in the room.

It’s a little more ambiguous than that. Broaddrick initially denied that the assault happened, then later said she was lying when she denied it. It’s funny how conservatives wholeheartedly believe her since they regularly impeach rape victims for far less.
