When is she going to realize no one is shocked anymore?

It’s getting the tiniest bit painful watching her go through her freshman year of college over and over again. I know she missed some developmental stages due to being an employee of the Mouse all those years, but when will it be over?

No one cares if you smoke pot, Miley. Seriously. It’ll be legal soon enough.

No one cares if you are naked, although it’d be damned nice if you’d stop posing for that scumbag Terry Richardson.

You have a great voice. You have some nice views, although you could use a class on intersectionality, but hell, you’re from Franklin, Tn. It could be worse. But, good grief. The rest of it is done. Do something cool with your money, and sing some songs about something else.

  Every since she got out of Tommy Mottola’s hands, she went for all the clothes and behavior she’d been denied in his attempt to mold her as an inoffensive, if very attractive, female pop diva.
  
  And, 20 years on, she CAN’T STOP. Always with tight, low-cut, super high heels, kittenish sexuality.
  
  This is Miley’s fate. In her case, constantly “pushing the envelope” with fashions fit for a caffeinated crack head and thinking she’s edgy because she isn’t cute little Disney Miley anymore, even though everybody got the memo and stopped caring years ago.

I really, really don’t get her. I mean, I know most people don’t, but I don’ even understand what’s the goal here? I mean, sorry, but the way she talks about drugs like its NBD is ridiculous - people die from this fucking shit, and if she kept talking about how much booze she drinks she’d probably be forced into rehab long ago.

And then the whole over sexualization that’s decidedly not sexy and just really uncomfortable? I cringe. Every single time, I really cringe. And I’m not even a prude! I think I hate the fact that she makes me - someone who considers oneself GGG - cringe, the most annoying thing of all.

It sounds like she wrote it in the car on her ride home and the wonderful thing about modern technology is that instead of it just being something she sings to herself or along with friends, she can upload it to the web and share it with everyone else, including some who could relate.

Next year, maybe she’ll go to Vegas or something as Christmasy.

  I’m sure there are some my age who would sing into that little mic on their cassette recorder and who would happily make copies for their friends. Technology has just given us a more efficient way to make a better recording and multiple distribution networks. Cyrus’ tune was helped by her fame — the song has been featured on different websites for the past couple of days — but I’m sure there are dozens, if not hundreds of others with similar tunes on Youtube or as tweeted links.

  She needs to learn how to write songs because she clearly doesn’t know how. Like anything else songwriting requires training and practice. John Lennon said the early songs The Beatles wrote when they started out weren’t good. They needed practice and experience to become better. I don’t think Miley is a trained songwriter. Everything she does comes across as very amateurish. Maybe with some training and mentoring she could become good at it. But until then she needs to leave the songwriting to others.
