      Tornadoes are actually one thing that they don’t know whether there will be more or less. There is going to be more thunderstorms, yes, but wind sheer is going to decrease. There were not a lot of tornadoes in the US this year.

    If only Gawker had a writer that was well versed in meteorology that could add substance and nuance to what's going on with the recent weather. They could give him an entire sub blog dedicated to weather and climate, maybe give it a witty name. Weathervane or something.
