Does that include Banana Republic and Old Navy as well or is it just Gap-centric?

It took almost two weeks for me to get a cyber Monday order from Old Navy. It wasn't gifts or anything but really out of the norm for them.

Not sure but we ordered my MIL clothes from Athleta for Christmas and it took 4 weeks to arrive so I wouldn't be surprised if it was affecting all their brands.

So that means that there will be a “gap” where your Christmas present was supposed to go under the tree?

YES I GET to make a BAD joke because it’s Christmas, damn it!

And because it’s Gap we’re talking about. They deserve bad jokes.

Is it impacting Old Navy as well? Cuz that would explain why the baby clothes and gift for my sister in law which were ordered on Cyber Monday JUST GOT DELIVERED TO ME TODAY.

Yeah, old navy’s shipping is suffering too. I should know - about 20% of their profits are from me.

I deliberately chose the “arrives after Christmas” option (it donated $1 to charity) for a purchase I made unrelated to Christmas and it showed up yesterday. Seems that this might explain why.

LOL I know that he will like them because all his pants are in rags, but I literally bought my brother the three following items from the Gap for Xmas:

      Adequately fitting jeans

      Khakis

Grey joggers (which for men are basically the equivalent of leggings)

I mean, that’s what the Gap does best but this is so right on.

I’m not so sure about that. We can’t wear joggers with tall boots as dressy clothes, and they don’t make our butt look better.

I ordered a bunch of stuff on Thanksgiving, and my order didn’t arrive until Dec. 20th. *Eye roll*

Gotta love how I had to learn about this “internal error” here and not from Gap.

I ordered my kid some pajamas and t-shirts from old navy on cyber monday (11/30), and the last one just arrived today (12/23). The rest arrived last week.

Gap had this same problem last year. I don’t know why they bother offering 2 day or overnight shipping since they can’t deliver on time. Last year I ordered something and paid $22 to have it shipped overnight. Of course that meant it showed up 3 days later. They did refund the shipping but it did little to assuage me. Lesson learned because this year I went with Amazon.

I have a couple of perfectly serviceable basic sweaters from Gap. They are boring work clothes, but they’re fine for that.

Personally, I don’t get my family or friends boring work clothes for Christmas, but I have the ability to buy luxuries for them. Some people would love a decent pair of slacks for work under the tree - because they are actually poor, but still need business casual quality clothes. (Although, really, in this case, a gift card is a better idea).
