So how awkward is it to clean out your piss funnel in front of other people? Serious question since I’ve had one installed since birth. ;)

Seriously? Even her urination is taken as evidence by you of a sinister plot? Its truly astonishing the lengths people like you go to not give her the benefit of the doubt about absolutely... anything. If you look at yourself in the mirror, do you really think you’re being reasonable? We’re talking about the toilet habits of a 68 year old grandmother rather than important election issues.

an unexpectedly long line at the ladies room (which was further from the stage than the mens) kept her from coming back on cue

Sorry, no. She shouldn’t be required to “hold it.”

We need to combat the institutional sexism that plagues our building codes. The International Plumbing Code, which serves as the basis for many of our state and municipal codes, should be modified to recognize that the average woman takes longer in the bathroom, and the calculation methods should be adjusted to minimize the wait times experienced by woman. This means we should probably double the number of stalls required for women in Assembly Occupancies, such as theatres, shopping malls, etc.

To be fair, we didn’t have the chance to feel the effects of Wall Street deregulation, punitive welfare reform, and “tough on crime” laws yet.

Counterpoint: A president should feel the need to piss anywhere at any time to establish dominance. How do you think the moderators would have dealt with Hilldog pissing all over them on cable television? Cowed that’s how. Clearly presidential material if Sander’s doesn’t make it.

“Do we really want the person chiefly responsible for delivering the nuclear launch codes to be subjected to the whims of an unruly bladder?”

You do know, of course, that MEN past age 50 need to go even more than women?

      It’s true.

Also: men are notoriously slower poopers than women. My father-in-law, for example, known in my head as “Grandaddy Slow Poops,” has been known to need upwards of 45 minutes to shit.

OMG. What is it with that? I have a husband and two sons, and they take anywhere from 5-10 minutes on average - sometimes more. I'm in and out in maybe a minute or two.

Hitler used his opponent’s weak bladder to great advantage at the Munich negotiations in 1938 (“Peace in our time”), so this is actually less of a laughing matter than you’d like to believe.

The marathon summits here in the EU often end with the side prevailing who’s able to weather sleep deprivation for days on end. Angela Merkel for instance is renowned for how little sleep she needs, which gives her an edge over other leaders at the negotiation table.
