    Just like hear me out here, but like, what if you’re a 31 year old female with a guy friend who you adore a billion percent, and he’s gay, and you’ve both joked about making a baby for a long time, and now you’re making fewer jokes and it’s starting to get to be a real discussion?

    Like, say, you propose “let’s take a year to get our financial houses in order, research this, talk to a lawyer, whatever, and see where we stand this time next year.”

    Like is that crazy?

    Because it feels crazy but it also feels like of right.

    And also a year is like ample time to get fully rejected by the hot nerd you’ve been pining for, so that’s good, too.
