    I don’t know how often “regular tabloid readers” and “fans of Pope Francis” intersect. And while, if I’m interested in a celebrity wedding, the first place I’d head to would be the grocery store check-out lane, I don’t think anyone looks for hard-hitting, Catholic-themed journalism in US Weekly. Unless US Weekly gets regular insider interviews with Francis, in which case I am very sorry for my uninformed opinions, and also that would be adorable and they should look into that.

      Vaguely related, but has anyone else seen the sad, sad drivel that gets published as Capital ‘C’ Catholic journalism? It always makes me depressed that it’s so kooky conservative and middle school low quality.

        Why is it shocking that People readers rushed to buy the Miranda/Blake breakup issue? I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a lot of overlap between Duggar, who happen to be People cover darlings, fans and country music fans. I mean People is such a magazine geared towards white middle American and Southern women.
