Meanwhile, Geraldo Rivera was exploring the basement . . .

(EDIT: Extra points if you get the reference.)

I firmly believe that all reporting should be done this way. For example, instead of covering the next GOP debate, MSNBC should go to the candidates houses while their families are at the debate and just rifle through their underwear drawers and banker/occupy wall street BDSM porn closets.

I don’t want to know what is in Trump’s bedside table, and at the same time, I don’t think I could be shocked by what is found in it.

If we’re gonna be fair and balanced, do we get to see Hillary and Bernie’s sock drawers too?

I’m guessing he’s already out of the apartment, but if he’s still there I could use a few hangers if he would grab them for me. I just don’t think paying 6 dollars for 4 of them is a good deal.

Are you buying hangers at Whole Foods? They run like 10 for $2 at Target.

You can get them 4 for $1 at the dollar tree and they’re only poisonous if you lick them

I could be wrong, but I don’t think it’s MSNBC they’ll be suing - MSNBC was told that they were clear to do this, and they were among a number of organizations filming and rifling through everything. But they sure have a huge lawsuit against SOMEONE.

It’s the FBI. They’re the ones in charge here. Someone is absolutely going to get fired, this is insane.

I watched this unfold live with the attitude of, “how is this even legal???”

There was a shredder bin that had shredded paper in it, still there. They had Kurans lying around, that could very well be evidence of some sort. The personal photographs, lots of doxx info. And the rampant speculation: a pic of 4 brown-skinned girls standing around a table gets the “this could have been taken in Pakistan” treatment... or you know, it could have been taken in the US? I guess the landlord let Inside Edition get in first because they paid him?

Someone at the FBI is going to get their ass fired over this, at least I hope so.

That truly was an overwhelming amount of material that appeared to be relevant in one way or another. It makes one wonder whether the FBI is so focused on the cyber end of things that they are now wholly unconcerned with collecting all that relevant, physical, material? It boggles the mind.

I don’t even watch all that many crime procedurals, and I was like, “there’s software in that still-intact printer that might contain something relevant! WTF?”

Both can be disgusting, the shooters actions were barbaric and unjustifiable. But so is illegally rifling through a crime scene and exposing the innocent family members to public mockery and posssible attack. Is this what we have become? Wow what an insane asylum we’ve become as a nation.

something I’ve been wondering, since the only constant to the American News Cycle is Mass-Shooting interrupts usual news for a good half-week or so:

If we have something like this next November election day, WHAT will the media cover? POTUS election or mass-shooting?

Given the saturation of both topics, I don’t think it’s going to be possible to do BOTH.

      But what THEME MUSIC then?

That harp/drum “sad because of terrorism” score, or the usual newsy “Election time” with lots of brass?
