You’ve definitely skipped some days, Allie. You need to start over this labor of obsession with a woman who is personally responsible for the deaths of people. Why you love this woman is beyond me.

Also, wait, is coconut an actual nut? Is this like how peanuts are really legumes?

      Verdict: NOT A NUT

The term coconut can refer to the entire coconut palm, the seed, or the fruit, which, botanically, is a drupe, not a nut.

My mind is blown. Why would Allie spread such falsehoods?

    Day 313:

I went and got my library card and learned how to get ebooks on my Kindle AND they had a copy of Mindy Kailing’s book just waiting there so I’m about to have a pretty delightful weekend of being an introvert and reading a lot with my cats.

I’m helping my friend who works in the same company at a different office, and her boss doesn’t know how to do things so I have to tell her the correct way to do things so I’m making him this card:

(he’s also one of my really good friends so this is okay to do but my god it’s frustrating seeing him constantly misinform like a ding dong)

Don’t sleep on Audiobooks. You can work, drive and do anything while listening to a book. I’m listening to the entire Harry Potter series.

so, #spon and all that, but I’ve been thinking about checking out Kobo, which is an e-reader/app/e-book vendor that lets you sidestep Amazon or B&N. I heard about it through my local feminist bookstore, and apparently they accrue benefits when (I, theoretically) order books via Kobo.

    Sorry for the short one.

    Chapter 2, Part XIV

Tater sighed and looked around the safe room, unsure of what to do, she poured herself a glass of coconut milk out of habit. It just wasn’t as good as her mom’s coconut kefir.

She sat down and opened the laptop in front of her. A big fan, she decided to read the reviews for Cylonery Peer’s latest documentary about a article series bizarrely named “500 Days of Kristin” from decades ago. Reviews were mixed but some people were completely devoted to the documentary. She found them inspiring and decided to add the documentary to her must see list.

A message window popped up, clicking on it, Tater was treated to a full screen shot of Lee’s handsome face. It looked like they were approaching some sort of building. Suddenly the screen split into four different views - Tater assumed they were the helmet cams for the team members. In the corner she saw their code names - Memorykid9, Unrepentant Punk, someone named Krill, and Apollo. She smiled in recognition of Lee’s old nickname in high school.

The hovercraft they were in floated down on top of a dark nondescript building. Memorykid9 gestured to Lee to follow him while Krill and UP appeared to go their separate ways, rappelling off opposite sides of the building.

It was difficult to focus on all four screens, so Tater focused on Lee’s screen while trying to keep the others in her peripheral view. Lee was headed down a dark stairway following Memorykid9. UP and Tater seemed to be picking locks to the front and rear entrances of the building.

On today’s episode of The Shills, it’s Throwback Thursday!

    Do you remember Day 163?

    MoonDragon does.

Or how about Kristin the animal lover of Day 273?

    Hmm.

Here’s Kristin Cavallari making out with a giraffe Llamacorn.

    Women need it.

Krill oil is actually ok with this; it’s not sad at all. It’s not crying or anything. Good for coconut oil!

Cool paper on krill “hearts!” I had no idea there was so much unsettled debate on krill taxonomy.

I like to picture the conundrum that Kristin would face if she found GMO superfoods in the grocery store.

Also, if there were an Ebola vaccine available during an outbreak of the disease. How would she respond?
