    Not sure why anyone is surprised by this, or think it’s exclusive to Politico. The game isn’t real complicated, you ask tough or gotcha questions, you won’t get the important guests.

    Can’t really blame the mass media in a capitalist society. This is the outcome.

        Okay, to be fair, if the senior Democratic lawmaker we are talking about is Jim Webb, you do not want to surprise that man. Just ask the guy who threw the grenade at him in Vietnam (hint: you can’t), or the guy who threw the fake grenade at that Jim Webb grenade-themed surprise party.

                    This sounds similar to reports over here in the UK where it’s been found that Prince Charles demands journalists/news organisations sign contracts before interviews that give him and his people final say over major aspects editorial control and can kill the section and stop it being broadcast at any time.

                    Still find it so laughable how people say they love having a Royal Family yet when questioned can’t put forward a single cohesive argument as to why we should still pay for them out of the public purse.
