    Did I stumble into a time machine? I’ve politicians calling for interning minorities, white supremacists shooting up civil right marches and the specter of war on the horizon. If it’s really the 1940’s at least I can wear a sharp suit and fedora without being a total douchebag.

    Also, this story is completely crazy. It’s clearly not a straight-up targeted mass shooting, since there was clearly “peaceful” interaction beforehand, albeit super suspicious. But why even interact at all if you show up loaded to bear?

      That would be my guess. Then when the activists tried to get them to leave, one of them got angry and started shooting. Same mentality as the folks who beat up BLM protesters at Trump events.

    One of the absolute worst things about the shooting is the sarcasm and indifference of the police on the scene.

    Per a witness at the scene, “And we called the police, and I asked them did you just hear those gunshots? Because there were police on the ledge and they were just sitting there, someone just got shot, did you not just hear those shots, and they didn’t do anything, they just sat there and did nothing, and they said why don’t you call 911 and I said you’re 911, but they wouldn’t do anything.”

    Seriously, fuck these police in particular.

      Ok Class lets review the last week and half in american politics and ‘civil’ life.

      -BLM protester beaten at Trump Rally, police refuse to arrest assailants...Canidate condones beating.

      -BLM activists shot at protest...

      -Islamophobia on rise across the US...

      -Religious databases and catalogs debated by serious canidates...

      -Major Candidate call refugees and immigrants rabid dog’s...another lies repeatedly about minorities, blames them for violence and the problems of America... rises in polls.

      -Mayor’s and Governors balk at constitution, refuse to follow the law...

      -Media presents all arguments from politicians as valid, and despite proven outright lies...punishes any opinion no matter how valid.

      ... It is getting darker in America, the specters of fascism turn out to be alive and well; how much scarier can it get? I wonder what Germany felt like in 1932... how did the german people allow it? I think we’re all being taught how.

        In the live-stream after the shooting two BLM protesters admit it was their side that started the confrontation, confronting and then punching the 3 dudes over taking videos at an event where tons of people are taking videos. The 3 guys made it clear they were armed, fled, were chased for blocks, and eventually shot.

        Afterwards the protesters held a meeting to coordinate their story, and then it changed to “herding” the guys.
