    Do you think that Abraham would condone this behavior? Because the Abraham I read about welcomed strangers of all stripes.

He’s the jihadi equivalent of a Gamergater. A sore loser who only knows how to lash out with violence and who doesn’t even understand what the hell he is allegedly fighting and killing for.

    He’s not a mastermind. He’s an idiot and an asshole. Big surprise - guns and bombs create carnage when used in big crowds. You don't need to be a criminal mastermind to figure that out or to think of committing violence in night clubs.

      Are you kidding me? Abraham may have practiced traditional hospitality, but he also was a religious fanatic who destroyed all his father’s idols, sent away Hagar and his child Ishmael (father of the Arabs) to die bc Sarah was jealous, and he slaughtered Chedarlaomer even after achieving his objective of freeing Lot. Shit is not that simple. Plus it’s all made up. But whatever.

    maybe it eluded me, but:

    nowhere in this “interview” (jesus christ what a fluff piece) is it mentioned he was traveling BACK to the perils of Western Europe. He was born and raised in Belgium after all.

    I would think if he’s FROM there (which he is), it’s not (or wasn’t, before the Paris attacks) that difficult to travel around.

    ...this really puts my disdain toward some Millennials into perspective.

      In an interview yesterday his sister said “I hope he’s really dead” and his dad said “I’m on medication I’m so stressed out by him; I hope I never see him again.”

      I cannot even begin to imagine the shame his family must feel; leaving the Third World for greater opportunity and then THIS. Ugh.

Same with Christians. “Thanks to God, I was able to survive the car accident.” Yeah well there were the EMT’s, the ER doctors, modern medicine, seat belts, car safety engineering... LUCK. Also, I guess God just wasn’t down with the 3 year-old who died in the same accident? Or how about “With God’s strength, I survived cancer.” Well... why didn’t God just not give you cancer in the first place? “He was testing me.” FOR WHAT? Cancer? Cause you got that.

    They talk like cult members. They give each other names like the Raelians did (same for women, they all get called the equivalent of “Mother” if I recall correctly) and they use language that resembles cult techniques to develop rhetoric for the “in crowd”. Also, they sound like a terrible parody of 15th century manuscripts (“Allah blinded their vision” really?!). And before anyone says “it’s Islam!”, nah... I have dozens of Muslim friends and acquaitances. I don’t know a single person who talks like this, not even the leaders at the Mosque. If anything, they seem to employ cult techniques while appropriating some concepts from Islam.

    And this is why next time any government tries to pass draconian laws in the name of anti-terror we need to resist. Our intelligence does not stop these events. James Clapper couldn’t give one example of a terrorist attack thwarted due to NSA surveillance.

      The existence of this magazine is so surreal to me. Like everything with its graphics and trappings are pulled straight from western mass media, only the content is horrifying.

      I’m reminded of Vice’s doc on ISIS when their head of media monologues on how an ISIS flag will fly over the White House one day as they destroy the godless heathens of the West, all while wearing some Ray Ban Wayfarers.

        Still not as ironic as every single jihadi everywere brandishing a weapon designed and made by probably the most godless government of all time. I remember reading a few years back an article about an al-quaeda controlled area in Iraq where a militant beat a child for having western candy because it didn’t exist in mohammed’s time, while he was wearing sunglasses, carrying a kalashnikov, and carrying a cell phone.
