Zara Terez’s legging are actually pretty cute and comfortable, if not a little “slide-y” (they also have a pair with cassette tapes, the Hollywood sign, emojis, and a surprising beautiful cherry blossom pattern).

What do you get for an athlete that can’t be contained by an athletic supporter? (wink wink, lol)

I LOOOVE the prints of Zara Terez leggings but think they are some of the most ill-fitting leggings I have ever tried on. I really wish they would ditch that shitty waistband and put on a wider one. I actually have a pretty trim waist (more of a junk in the trunk kinda gal) and still get love handles from those. If I get the waistband large enough to not pinch, they are too loose in the legs and don’t stay up during actual exercise. They are my biggest legging disappointment!

After I hit publish that I had a flash of putting on the crushed makeup print and being crushing for that reason. I had forgotten...

My latest faves are Tono o Tono. I also like Candida Marie, but I always think of “yeast infection” (not the risk, just the name)

      NB: I am tacky AF.

Isn’t it weird that we all have bathtubs in our bathrooms but, like, nobody ever takes baths? Is it because everybody I know has a disgusting bathtub that they don’t want to clean?

I have a giant claw foot tub in my house. It was most of the reason why I wanted to rent it. I take baths all the time. Toss a bath bomb in, pour myself a glass of wine, set up my laptop on top of the towel hamper and find something on Netflix... BEST SUNDAY NIGHT EVER. Even better if I have weed and can spark up a splif.

I mostly only do it on Sundays and Wednesdays, when my roommate works until 12AM or 1AM and I have the house to myself (although his girlfriend has been doing this thing that I dislike where she comes over four hours before he gets off work and makes herself a little too much at home...) It’s face mask, bubble bath, wine night.

I humbly submit, yaktrax. You can wear them to run or walk in icy conditions, and would be a great present for any outdoorsy folks you know in Northern climes. I wish to hell I had had them last winter (my first in the Midwest), I might not have shattered my ankle when I slipped and fell on ice on a January jog.

I LOVE Yaktrax. I don’t think I could survive winter without them. I’m in Wisconsin, we get lots of ice, and they grip every step when my boots can’t.

Road Id. This is a little tricky because you need personal info, but it's so nice to have. I bike/run alone and have medicine allergies so it brings me peace of mind. I also used it when I was just pushing the kids in strollers. One time, I fell and twisted my knee while pushing a baby - I was shaken up by what could have happened to my baby if I wasn't able to get home.

If road ID is what I’m thinking of its great! But idk if it’s the same basically my dads a runner and wears this like live strong style bracelet that has a little engraved metal piece on it with mine and my brothers phone numbers in case of emergency.

Is that the same thing? Either way what I'm talking about is ALSO a good thing to invest in

As an outdoorsy, athletic woman who won’t come in from the cold, there is a shitload of stuff on there that I either have or would use. I have been telling Mr Pixel for years that I wanted a roller stick. I have that Anker charger. Neck gaiters? Baselayers? Yep, I use them.

I would also suggest Ibex socks. They are fantastic. Trail running for hours with creek crossings? Those are the socks if you don’t want blisters. Seriously, if anyone wants to buy me some for the holidays, that would be awesome.

That collapsible lantern is cool, and I would also recommend a headlamp. It is great for running after dark or camping. Blackburn makes some good ones.
