      Like, it’s hard to even pick a favorite song off that album. Sometimes it’s Tranquillo, sometimes it’s Devoted To You, or Back Down To Earth. I’m going to go listen to it again to decide for sure.

    This wasn’t the best thing ever involving musicians, birds and faces: Kings of Leon once cancelled a show at Riverport in St Louis because of pigeons in the roof of the stage continually pooping on them.

    The pigeons were lauded for having good taste.

    I had a radio show in Stamford Ct. in the late 70’s when Carly Simon’s album “Boy’s In the Trees” came out. I loved the title song and commented one morning on the lyric; “deny yourself and hope someone will see” AND SHE CALLED ME UP! We had a really nice conversation. She was married to James Taylor at the time and told me they both listened to my show. Such a thrill!

      Oy vey, a bat flew in her face! I hope she went and got rabies shots that very night. God only knows where that bat has been; it was probably disoriented from being diseased and even the tiniest bit of saliva can kill you. It’s true. Go ahead, laugh.
