Many of those suckers will return to the Pentagon and the State Department as soon as America elects another Republican president.

Don’t worry. America will likely never elect another Republican president. At least nothing resembling the far right, overwhelmingly WASPy Republican Party of today.

In lieu of flowers, the Chalabis request that you send unreliable exiles with dubious information to Judy Miller.

The same Judith Miller whose book apperance and lecture in Brooklyn your site just promoted?

How naive to pin any responsibility for the Iraq War on Chalabi. What a convenient scapegoat. Perhaps not as egregious as Bibi pinning the Holocaust on the Grand Mufti, but never-the-less another brilliantly exploited pawn on the grand chess board. Just like our brilliant members of congress who pretend that they were duped into voting for the Iraq War by dubious intelligence, when anyone with any real knowledge of the situation knew that Saddam had no WMD and that we were setting the stag for the Mad Max/Apocolypse Now scenario in wester Iraq and Syia, not to mention that kicking the Sunnis out of power would greatly empower Iran. Chalabi was scum, but at the end of the day he was only acting in his own interest while the United States acted against it’s own interests in an illegal, violent & shameful manner that has led it’s own soul down the path to ruin. The Neo Cons, Hilary & Bill Clinton, W, Kerry, Lieberman, Cheney, Perle, Libby, Friedman, Safliar, Miller, Blitzer, NBC, ABC, CNN, FOX, CBS, NYTIMES etc. were all responsible for this catastrophe. They were pining for it for years. Blaming Chalabi for the Iraq War is like blaming the Mets’ batboy for losing the World Series.

There’s something that strikes me as somewhat racist in your dismissal of the ability of Chalabi to be as duplicitous as all the non-Arabs and Jews (funny how you mention so many Jewish pundits, despite most Jews being anti-war, and the vast majority of the vacant, war-mongering talking heads being WASPs).

He was such a garbage person. His enablers in the US Government and everyone associated with him should be shot at his grave site and dumped into the same hole.

Or maybe build him a grandiose Egyptian tomb and have them buried alive with him, servants-of-the-pharaoh style?

And has hundreds of times the civilian body-count.

Remember: any minute now a secular state is going to materialize in Iraq. There will definitely not be any massive resurgence of fundamentalist sentiment. There will not be death squads roaming the streets. The free market will rebuild it better, stronger than before. There is no way that invading Iraq could end badly, and suggesting otherwise is just defeatist liberal anti-Americanism.

      Oh wait whoops

I’m not supposed to say I’m glad he died of a clutching pain in his chest, because I’m a good person. And I don’t believe in that sort of triumphal, pissing on the grave disrespect of the recently departed.

Man I wish I was a better person than I am...

This may be the last time I can tell this story, but in the early part of the second Iraq War, the networks were wall-to-wall with coverage and news junkies like me were flipping around.

During a lull in the reports, Peter Jennings took a call from an Iraqi citizen in Baghdad who after speaking about the scene, started talking about Chalabi and how he wasn’t sure our chosen successor would be able to win over the people of Iraq. I don’t know if this was all news to Jennings or he got flustered because the caller had gotten so far from the accepted script, but after telling the gentleman that as far as he knew we hadn’t picked a new leader, he then questioned the fellow’s authenticity, asked why the call had been patched through and shut the whole thing down. It wasn’t until years later that we learned the person who spoke to Peter Jennings that day knew more about the US operation than everybody around.

This man. OMFG this man. If you don’t know who this man was, you are not a member of reality. Get off your ass and read.

Google: PNAC, Chalabi, CPSG, and The American Enterprise Institute.

This is no longer political rhetoric.

Chalabi was a monster in league with a group of conspirators dealing in neoconservative war profiteering for the ultra rich and directly responsible for the violent deaths of millions of people worldwide. Chalabi used ‘Ronald Reagan based’ neoconservative war mongers to spearhead his desire to be the head of Iraq... not a President, not a Prime Minister, not a Czar... Chalabi wanted to be the God of Everything in Iraq.

He was the key fountainhead, backbone, and engineer:

“Letter to Bill Clinton” January 1998

“Open Letter to the President” Febraury 1998

If these open documents, and the list of criminally based consignees, are not something that have always made your head blow off and your ears ring... today is your day.

Chalabi should have died in prison... very very painfully.

      Do your freaking homework.
