FYI: Time to update the graphics. The photo on this article is of Parker Center. LAPD moved to their new headquarters Bldg. 5 years ago:

Shows what I know about Los Angeles scenery. I’ll look around for something better.

It would be almost funny if it weren’t terribly depressing. Basically, it’s the old you tattled so now I’m mad and going to passive-aggressively make your life a living hell. In the world of the blue curtain, it’s business as usual.

Exactly. This is a bit off-topic, but there is an excellent recent doc about the MOVE bombings in Philadelphia, called Let the Fire Burn. A total of one of the Philly cops present at the bombing, during which 11 people burned to death under mysterious circumstances, expressed sympathy for the victims. He had *nigger lover* written on his locker and was hounded out out of the force. What’s new is old.

You mean business as usual in America. I’ve not seen this story anywhere else but this site and to me this is a pretty big deal considering this happened to an ACTUAL COP. If they’re doing it to one of their own how much worse and often are they doing it to everyday black men?

That’s a rhetorical question as I already know the answer to be all day, everyday. Which is why I go back to why isn't this a bigger deal? Here’s a thought: how about politicians stop talking about meaningless *political* bullshit that is none of their business, like anything related to what women are doing to their bodies, and worry about the institutional racism of police in America as a legitimate campaign issue

I believe it. LAPD is racist as fuck.

If rapper SchoolBoy Q is to be believed, they used to pick him up and drive him 20 blocks into enemy gang territory and then dump him on the street and leave him to arguably get killed.

Personal Example? I gave my ex cleaning lady’s kid my old bike. Good kid, Yaqui native Latino, known him since he was 8 and the kid is 18 now.

He just got a ticket for blowing through a yellow light on the bike I gave him and has to do 500 hours of community service because of course he can’t afford the $1500 fine.

Meanwhile, my white privileged 40 year old ass is blowing red lights and yellow lights on my bike up and down Venice Blvd in front of cops all night long, on my night rides and they don’t bat an eye.

It’s so obvious to me, that when I run into my friends or people who say White privilege isn’t real it truly drives me nuts.

I’m sure not all of LAPD is racist, but going by this one officer, a large enough contingent is that it warrants serious attention.

I’m not sure how peacefully he should be resting, he did murder two people who had absolutely nothing to do with what happened to him as a cop.

I’m not sure, either, but do you remember the assurances that the LAPD was going to investigate his allegations...until he died? Like I said, nothing changes.

The officer then allegedly approached Ferguson’s car a second time saying he “still needed to verify” Ferguson’s employment.

That’s when you shoot the guy and shout “YOU BELIEVE I’M LAPD NOW, MOTHERFUCKER?”

Just goes to prove the LAPD are a bunch of pussies and the NYPD could kick your ass any day. We throw our cops in the loony bin when they try to expose shit like this.

That is what happens to every whistleblower who raises a well founded complaint against their employer. Retribution for the embarrassment caused and perceived disloyalty shown. It is why we need real whistleblowing protection laws, ones which can be enforced.

The white cop knows the black cop is a cop. Then he fucks him over a second time just to be that much more of an asshole.

Of course...what we don’t know is something that we MUST speculate on...I’m sure this “black cop” got all “uppity” about being pulled over while clearly being an alleged gang member in an area where all black people pretend to be cops while really being gang members.

This sounds a lot like what that Charles Dorner said happened to him when he reported a supervisor for excessive force. She got him kicked off the force for “making a false statement” about the disabled man with the busted face that she had kicked, and he later shot a whole bunch of cops.

who reportedly told him gang members “down here are known to impersonate LAPD.”

I mean. Honestly, could you really tell the difference between the LAPD and a street gang?
