The first mistake was getting a brownie recipe from somebody who weighs 120 pounds.

The idea of saying ‘This is natural, so it is safe’ is false.

OMFG. So true. For example, if you’re using a exfoliant face scrub, synthetic is a little better than ground peach pits.

Lava is natural... should be safe. Might burn a little.

Apparently those little synthetic balls are polluting natural water sources though.

My husband’s stepbrother convinced him to do this. He was sick for two days after. I love the man, but it wasn't one of his finer moments.

      I invented this when I was 3.

My kids still carry on the tradition.

I’m so mad she used a goddamn makeup brush to apply a mask, much less a mask of guacamole.

At this party last week someone kept rubbing my skin and telling me it was amazing. He asked my secret and I was like “use harsh cheap soaps and drink booze?” In retrospect he was probably hitting on me and I have horrible skin...so don’t follow that advice either.

I haven’t washed with soap or cleanser my face nor put anything on it other than sunblock in the past 10 years and I am told I look pretty good for my age.

Yup, for years and years I used nothing but water on my face and had amazing skin. We have hard water now and I have to use a moisturizing face wash because the water will clog my pores and dry out my skin and I can’t put lotion on my face... it was a little depressing, but when we bought the house how could I have known it was going to cause skin damage?

    “regenerating and purifying.”

People should be aware of medically meaningless terms like these. Hear them and know it is bullshit.

Do rub Cinnabons on your face because it is honestly healthier than eating them.
