      To be fair, the guy he’s attacking is a privileged white man too. Trudeau is running on marijuana decrinimalization platform and the other two parties realized far too late in the game that this was the most popular policy. The Conservatives, because of their fear-mongering rhetoric, have no choice than to double down on “Law and Order”, though they couldn’t have chosen a more amusing person to deliver that message.

    I mean, a) he’s not exactly wrong (for once), and b) “sober second thought” isn’t just an expression he pulled out of thin air, it has actual meaning in Canadian politics (though it was popularized by a legendary drunk).

      He IS wrong to call Trudeau a hypocrite though; Trudeau answered the question “have you ever smoked pot” honestly, and his platform reflects his views on decriminalization. Doug Ford is a liar and a hypocrite for even bringing it up, since he used to sell hash. The Cons totally miscalculated the public’s level of outrage over Trudeau admitting to using pot in the past. If anything, people saw it as a positive.
