Obama has apologized. There is going to be an investigation... Don’t these soldier/commanders get that we cannot have another Tilman cover up? I am starting to think there are serious cognitive issues when men assemble in these groups with tools...

it’s important to remember an awful lot of the Pentagon doesn’t trust Obama. there is a perception that that goddamn Democrat might commit the ultimate sin, throwing an actual commissioned officer to the wolves in the event that they’re caught committing a war crime. i am confident that whoever the person driving the tank was will be SEVERELY reprimanded for acting without orders, discharged, and then quietly hired as a six-figure ‘consultant’ for someone like Lockheed Martin, with glowing recommendations from his commanding officers.

The MIC looks after its own.

Lol, why would an aerospace weapons developer hire a tank driver. That makes zero sense. Maybe black water or a defense contractor that provides soldiers, but not a manufacturer. That makes no sense.

At least your country is winning. It’d be doubly embarrassing if they were bombing doctors and losing.

If we’re “winning” anything in the Middle East it’s news to me.

Driving a massive tank all over the crime scene where you are suspected of having comitted a crime, and STILL no word on allowing an investigation?

I mean... I don’t want to SAY I called it yet, buuuttt.

Meanwhile, the International Humanitarian Fact Finding Committee (IHFFC), an independent humanitarian commission created under the Geneva Conventions in 1991, is waiting for confirmation from the United States and Afghan governments that they will cooperate with an independent investigation.

        that’s unlikely

          Incorrect.

They will totally confirm cooperation. Then they just... won’t cooperate.

Those Drs without borders were raping little girls and amassing guns and explosives... just like at Waco. Humanitarian physian groups are just like cults except that... The Dr were mistakenly targeted and Waco cult fires upon officials trying to serve a warrant.

What evidence would there be to destroy exactly? The US has said that we bombed it, no need to destroy any bomb fragments that could point to us since we already admit to it. What possible evidence against us could be on the grounds.

I know this doesn’t directly have anything to do with this article but anytime I read about stuff like this I cannot fathom how naive and deluded the people are who beat their chests screaming “America is the best nation on Earth!” or some such bullshit.

Look, I like living here. Most of the time I really like living here. I’d probably rather live here than most other places, but that doesn’t mean I’m incapable of acknowledging that my country is fucked the fuck up in a lot of ways that need our attention. I simply cannot understand how people can turn a blind eye to things like this.

I’m pretty sure the IHFFC just got its answer—“Tanks, but no tanks”
