    It looks like to me the guy is being forced to do it and the woman is the one forcing him. She has her legs wrapped around his head and she slaps him when he tries to pull away. I don't see how this looks unclear.

      Just to be perfectly clear, it looks like that mainly because Sam has framed it in the context of a sexual assault.

      While this incident needs to be investigated and is certainly indicative of the Caligula like excesses of fraternity row, you have no way of knowing at this point if the guy in the video feels coerced and humiliated or is having the time of his life.

    Well I believe that she’s a pro. She seems entirely too...nonchalant?...to be a random coed. And body language doesn’t indicate oblivious levels of drunk. At one point it looks like she grabs his head and forces it back down?

    If she was hired to be the entertainment for the party...well, not that you can’t rape a sex worker, but it’s just as reasonable to believe she’s there on her own initiative doing what she agreed to to get paid.

    I can understand if anyone finds that distasteful - it’s certainly illegal - but that’s a slightly different discussion that's rape. Not unrelated, but not rape.

      A un-biased assesment and analysis without an emotional reactionary response on a topic involving sex, on MY Gawker comments? It’s more likely than I thought.
      (My issue isn’t that people are taking offense to this, it’s that nobody is even entertaining the thought it might be consensual. As someone whose served, the idea that all hazing is somehow bullying and abuse is also an outright lie. No doubt some of it is, but I’ve known plenty of people who were upset they weren’t going to get hazed because of the camaraderie it brings.) (NOT TO IMPLY THAT HAZING SOMEONE WHO IS UNWILLING TO BE HAZED IS OKAY)

      Body language can lie. She could be absolutely falling-over drunk. More than that, with god knows how many guys surrounding her, what’s she going to do? Say “no?” It may not fit some people’s definition of rape, but it is certainly sexual assault.
